I've heard of that one, OP. It was really popular back in the day.

This was actually an okay webcomic

YOU however are still an evil necromancer who must be stopped
In '87, Huey released this; Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends -- it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

I wanted to start a thread on this, but figured it would die off pretty quickly.

Burlew does a decent job keeping politics out of his work, though taking a joke about the gender ambiguity of elves and making it a “non-binary” character drove me away from any side material.

That being said, it’s in its last story arc and seems to be moving towards a satisfying conclusion.

He got bitten hard by the SJW bug, as so many aging nerds seem to, but for various reasons he had the sense to keep it from completely cannibalizing his work. Every new character will invariably be some variation of alphabet BIPOC, but he resisted the temptation to dramatically rewrite or prematurely retire his existing characters.

Bandana ended up being a character, if not a great one. Even the new dwarf chick, who exists solely because Burlew wanted more female characters, is still actually a character. Imagine how good his writing could be if he weren’t bogged down by SJW shit.

Don't hold your breath, he said his next project after OOTS (which will presumably be sometime during the age of flying space cars and atomic rayblasters) will definitely include transgender characters from the get-go.
