I think anything involving rust should be avoided not just because its quality is suspect but due to the high amount of trannyism/cultish behavior. Also watching the open source community sperg over lunduke is entertaining.

I think overall that's not a bad thing. Maybe not as important as work on libreboot. But guides to help people de-niggercattle themselves is a positive.

from (what i presume is his) documentation on libreboot shit (the ability and will to write nice readable documentation is a very underappreciated thing), he might have been the perfect person to write such a guide
and they both serve the same goal, if at different levels: invidious is powerful anti-niggercattling software and libreboot is powerful anti-niggercattling firmware
 
if anyone else is a developer, do you write off projects if they add or have a CoC? I mean it could just be woke/current year burnout but any time i see any project have a CoC i write it off as "diseased" and pull out of it even if I like the project as a whole.

I don't tend to contribute that deeply to open-source. If they make it hard to contribute I tend to just ignore their stupid stuff and leave it. I recall one project asking me to sign some contribution policy or something and I just said no. Refusal to engage with dumb shit really pisses off the right people.

To be fair, a lot of CoC crap is put there to shut these weirdos up and is not actually a bother. Some of them are actually okay in their wording, much to the annoyance of said weirdos who want to abuse them for their own politics.

a coc is not important at all by itself
the only thing that matters is the license the code is distributed under
take the trooniest mozilla pozware you know. use it to say "nigger" on the internet. watch nothing happen because freedom 0 means you can run the software for any purpose, and by "any purpose" the free software people really fucking mean it. troons putting "do not use this software for a heccin fascism" in the license is actually a big deal and they actually do get completely shit on for this
you can also make and distribute your own version of the software that has as many racism features as you want. the situation is similar to the above

a lot of cocs are just there to quickly appease some troon who made an issue for it back in 2021 because it didn't have a coc and the troon fucked off happily and now it just collects cobwebs in the repository while all community disputes are resolved by the grown adults involved being civil and respectful lest the repository owner ban them for being a retarded turbonigger
then there is the shit with 7 different community moderation teams and committees actively waging war against each other. nix drama is fucking insane (thankfully in this case guix exists and is maintained by people who mostly understand that the purpose of a free software project is to develop free software and not to invent hilarious new forms of bureaucracy)
 
The Tranny CoCs are mostly irrelevant for using said software. It's if you want to contribute where it starts to matter.

Yeah, true, my only gripe is that everything Francis writes is extremely long winded. Take the W541 install docs for example. First you have the supported hardware page which leads to the machine-specific page, which then asks you to first go to another page and inject vendor firmware, but before that you need to go to another page to install build dependencies, but before you do that you need to go to another page and configure your git and compile or download Libreboot so that you can go to another page and install flashprog, so that you can then proceed with libreooting your device. This is fixed in the T480 guide so he clearly knows how to do it, all that's left is to go back through the other docs and trim all the cruft. I haven't read the Invidious guide, but hopefully the lesson has carried over.

As much as people like to detract him for being a gross retard (not without reason), he is still spearheading firmware liberation alongside people like Mate Kukri and company. Truth be told I don't follow coreboot development nearly as closely, but from the odd curosry glance at their patches, Libreboot is a lot faster with tadding new hardware. I've said this before and I'll say it again, if Francis was not afflicted with the tranny mind rot, if he didn't post his rottting gash online or sperg out at RMS, he would have legitimately been one of the most important faces in free software today.

It's really fucking weird when software has a sodomite flag as their logo. It's like looking at pictures/videos of nazi germany and seeing swastikas everywhere. Ryubing (Ryujinx fork) nintendo switch emulator also has this. I dont know if the logo was added when it was forked from ryujinx after nintendo killed it or not.

that logo change was added by ryubing. the original colors were like the nintendo switch

I enjoy this guys interviews. This one actually seems like it kind of fits here. I do think if nothing else he says in this is correct, saying these people aren't fully human, and they don't have humanities best interests in mind. Is definitely spot on.

The craziest thing is. These are the people bringing the problems, that the government who they are working with are providing the "solutions" for. They are the ones behind everyone being online. Normalizing children having smart phones, and computers. People being fed propaganda from social media. Bots all over the place.

Then the government wants to "fix" it. By doing things that will give these companies more power, and give the government more power.

Even more than that. They are helping destroy the economy, political relations, everything. But it feels like no one looks at them as the source. Or any of the government agencies they work with.

I don't really do a lot of frontend development. I've lucked out the past few years being able to stick to backend services, so I really can't judge it. I've heard Elysia is really good, but my friend says a lot of developers are afraid to touch it cause of the ... anime.
