I've never heard Francis' voice, so I never quite realized how grim his existence really is. My brain just contrived a voice that at least attempts to sound passing, but to my shock, he sounds like your average fat pub lurking bloke. It is amazing how big of a stink these freaks will make about muh truuns roights then have the cadence of a 300lbs construction worker. At least we know that Libreboot is in the hands of a proper lad.



Fucking trannies, man. I was *this* close to attending FOSDEM this year, but seeing pictures of how troon infested 39c3 was alongside the visceral disgust of hearing his voice is urging me to reconsider. Better learn the whole coreboot + deguard + me_cleaner song and dance by hand sooner rather than later methinks.

Here's a fun tidbit of Minecraft trivia. Notch was working on multiplayer for Minecraft since forever. If you remember, there used to be a browser version of Minecraft Classic. That was the development era where you were in the progenitor of the creative mode and it had multiplayer code, even back then people played multiplayer, with ClassiCube of today retaining that experience. Though he wouldn't start working on multiplayer as we know it until the Alpha phase of development in 2010. For the longest time singleplayer Minecraft was separate from multiplayer, to the point where you didn't have a command line and you had to rely on a mod called Single Player Commands.

However in 2012 with the release of 1.3.1, Mojang, then still under Notch's command, managed to improve the netcode of the game so much that they've outright ditched the singleplayer part, and now whenever you play singleplayer, you're actually running a local Minecraft server that's ready to be opened up at any moment, hence that "Open to LAN" button in the pause menu. Minecraft's multiplayer code was that good, and that faggot Theo could never get even close to .1% of what Notch did.

Skill issue, this never happens on local accounts that you can still make in Win11's OOBE if you use anything but Home. And if you use Home that means you're a poverty ridden nigger that can only afford bottom of the barrel laptops/PC's and is incapable of installing Windows on your own. Not to mention, even if you do set up an MS account with OneDrive sync like a good goy, guess what it won't ever touch to sync with "the cloud". Anything that's not kept in your user folder. Just move one or two directory hierarchies above and it's powerless. C:\Files. Untouchable data fortress, ooo.

But people who are affected by modern Windows being dogshit the most are also the ones that are the least capable of using a computer, let alone being a responsible adult and learning how to do something differently, like moving your files to a different folder like C:\Files since they have no fucking idea what a directory tree even is, or how to not set up an MS account, or how to install Linux. Keep that in mind in case you get a shill boner whenever this shit happens, those people's learned helplessness is so powerful it's a fucking miracle they're still breathing. Just point at them and laugh. Bully them relentlessly until they finally grow up or shit their pants.

Needless to say that setting up your user folders for a forced cloud sync is fucking retarded when you've ever touched any sync software ever and know how it likes to shit itself, declare your files as "deleted" and wipe everything like a jackass.

1.2.5, 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 is the trifecta of the good release versions. Mainly because those were the three versions preceding major codebase rewrites that fucked up modding so they became hotspots for all the greatest community made content. That, and the Beta era, though for all the BTA's that try to turn it into nu-Minecraft but Beta (as if there wasn't a metric fuckton of Beta restoration mods on Fagbrick), no one seems to bother to figure out how to make replaying all the good old mods to actually be pleasant. There is a good reason my brain completely forgot to delete META-INF after replacing .class files in minecraft.jar and it's about time those autists make a retro wrapper/modloader for all the mods of that era. I want to replay my memories of PlasticCraft, More Creeps and Weirdos, Millenaire, Aether, SDK's Mods, Flan's mods, Nandonalt's mods and so on, without having to relive the trauma of modding the damn thing.

Compared to C3, I find FOSSDEM this be almost sane, especially if you stay away from the main track. It just doesn't have the outright leftist/antifa influence, that subverted the CCC years ago. I think there are also less trannies but this is subjective; perhaps some autist has the time to go through the schedules and calculate the troon%.
 
For who knows what reason, the Linux Mint forums keep getting DDOSed. No idea who would be pissed at the Mint team.

The first part is he had a point in being angry. Ai is wasting countless resources already, and that's going to only get worse. It's going to replace people in some areas slowly. And what we get in their place is a sterile, shitty replacement. And that will have adverse effects on the economy, and there will definitely be other negative effects on society. Also there's the whole bubble thing, that people have been pointing out for a while now.

But, at the same time, he was acting like a faggot. Posting a bluesky rant.

Car manufacturing is wasting countless resources already, and that's only going to get worse. It's going to replace horses and carriages in some areas slowly. And what we get in their place is a sterile, shitty replacement. And that will have adverse effects on the economy, and there will definitely be other negative effects on society.
