Clearly he took some time to self-reflect on his actions. An issue he felt so strongly about that he had to develop "protestware" and then on top of that add additional, actually dangerous, malware. Because he felt so strongly about it. He feels so strongly about peace. He feels so bad about the Ukrainian civilians, or something. You can clearly see how shaken he is that his actions may have harmed them.

Actually no, he's borderline pivoting to "LOL THIS WAS JUST ME PROVING HOW VULNERABLE YOU ARE TO SUPPLY CHAIN ATTACKS #OWNED". I like how all these soydev webshitters pretend like they actually audit all 1000 of their NPM-madness dependencies any time they update anything. No one would ever update anything if that was the case, which would be even worse for security.


I had personal dealings with GitHub over the ResetEra Ban Site and their statements and actions were bizarre. It was like talking to robots who refused to acknowledge anything I said and kept insisting I dox myself. When I refused they threatened to ban me for a ToS violation that I actually wasn't in violation of because of an exception specifically designed for my use-case. Despite their Section 230 protection I could see them just fucking around because they felt like it.

What a dumbass. All these little "death by a thousand paper cuts" type mini-"sanctions" towards the uninvolved citizens of Russia and Belarus only proves that if you give people a reason and some level of justification to be cruel towards others, they'll take it, because nothing feels better than sticking it to the bad guys as hard as possible.

Not only that, but aside from the last two days with the edit warring and bots making automatic posts in the past, almost half of the edits to his biography page were done by his own account. That Wikipedia account is gone now and I can't find a deletion log, but I can find a creation log from 10 December 2012.

Someone opened up a merge commit to apply my +NIGGER license to the repository, which I fully approve of. I've commented that a situation like this would have been impossible in a +NIGGER licensed project due to it's intentionally Kafkaesque design (I call it an anti-kafkatrap, a kafkatrap that traps kafkatraps).

Some sleuths dug a big deeper into his Instagram and found out that Brandon Nozaki Miller aka Brandon Charles Miller is former US Air Force Intelligence. Not a good look for the US government to have one of their literal spooks engaging in this type of stuff. It's also very telling about the level of OPSEC (or lack thereof) the US Air Force has when their trained intelligence personnel have the biggest public internet footprint I've ever seen, all while committing highly documented felonies in their own name.

Continuous Integration tools makes people lazy. Why test your shit for the tons of routine version bumps that come from complex nodejs projects? If the code compiles and doesn't have any obvious defects, push that shit to production, quick.

That comment about Microsoft and Electron reminds me of the joke that MS Teams is just ghetto Discord.

Just absolutely stoked about this Miller faggot. If this reddit creature was a human being, he would realize that his action of randomly firing a machine gun into a crowd of generic Eastern Europeans/using a GeoIP lookup would, for a dead certainty, not only hurt at least one Ukrainian but many, many, many Ukrainians.

I wonder how many Eastern European-hosted online poker websites use stupid Node crap. I hope we find out through Miller's brain becoming ceiling plaster and his skin becoming wallpaper.

Brandon Nozaki Miller claims that he has been SWAT'd and spammed with pizzas. As he mentioned prior he claimed to have tipped off the police about a SWATing attempts so if this is true it was probably a soft-entry. I still find Brandon's response to this whole thing to be counter-intuitive. He created malicious and destructive "protest-ware", yet seems totally uninterested in actually talking about the topic he was protesting. All of his responses are no more than two sentences, never addressing core allegations or underlying issues. It's pretty shameful, it's like he just doesn't care, yet, the whole basis of this is that he cares deeply.

If you have a pizza delivered somewhere and you didn't pre-pay, they're going to demand cash on delivery. If you say you didn't order that pizza, they're not going to just leave it at your house without any payment. I'm not sure how he'd be getting free pizzas from this unless someone else is paying for them, which seems unlikely.

And, well, if he's lying about the pizzas…
