Talk about being overqualified for the job. At this point any project that isn't chud-run or doesn't have a BDFL a la OpenBSD, Slackware, Guix (to a lesser extent but Ludo is still the de-facto big man on top), that can filter these retards likely has an expiration date. Any community needs a rock to lean on in trying times, and not having someone that can keep the trannies on a leash might as well mean open season for brimstoning.

The nix community is a perfect example of how important it is to have a strong voice of reason ruling over the project.

It did have a single guy who ran the project. He created it himself, was working on it through the whole thing. He was very into the technical details, which is how the project came to be. The problem was it was all he cared about. He didn't have any interest in being a leader, and dealing with the open source tranny politics. So he didn't ever step in when things started going down hill. Eventually that was what led to him being ousted by the trannies. If he had stopped it right when the cracks started to show. I believe nix would look like a very different project today. Sadly he was just a nerd that wanted to make a cool project, that he found interesting. And ultimately he lost it because of that. It's actually a sad story to me. I would hate to have something I worked so hard on taken from me by these freaks.

Which is why being a recluse hermit programmer is no longer a viable option. Even people who just want to work on their own projects are always at risk of being raped by trannies unless they explicitly intervene to curtail tranny shit. A similar thing happened with Void, didn't it? As much as most people, myself included, would rather not have to deal with stinkditches, force must be applied early and liberally. What are they gonna do, fork it? Please. The only time a tranny takeover is successful is if the project is already large enough to coast along without its original backbone of actual contributors, then to be skinwalked by trannies until it ACKs, as all troon things eventually do. A tranny cannot make, it can only corrupt. Even tranny-started projects like Libreboot are basically just loose patchworks that co-opt other people's - in this case coreboot upstreamers - code. Nix? Skinwalked. Void? Skinwalked.

As much as it pains me to say it, NixOS at this point might be better off as an Anduril project the same way Ubuntu, RHEL and Suse are for their respective companies. I'm sure that if troonies can do a hostile takeover, the glowies at Anduril can too. At least that way half the dev team won't be at risk of jumping off a bridge when a CoC viulashun makes their ditches leak.

ah ok. I've always had really bad luck with the search. I just thought it was acting the same way it normally does. :smug:

For some reason I rarely can rarely find what I'm looking for. If it was another site I would just use an outside search engine. I'm not sure if that will work for the forum though. I do recall that it's no longer blocked from google results so maybe it will.
 

The Primeagen covered the Linus Torvalds side project where he vibe coded a python script. His take is much less retarded than Lundukes. Which isn't surprising because the Primeagen isn't a subversive jew trying to do what subversive jews do. He's just a programming guy that made a sloptube channel. I haven't watched everyone's video soying out over this, so maybe there have been some others that were more reasonable his was the only one I've seen I've pretty much fully agreed with though.

Actually if you haven't seen the lunduke video on this. I reccommend watching the primeagen video on it first. Then watch this.


And tell me how anyone can take this guy seriously.

aight, I'll give it a try

the primeagen video is quite obnoxious with the guy's delivery in the first half, but I mostly agree with the takes he presented in the video
I like that he established the context of what actually happened, with the backstory, and showing the scale

the lunduke video showed one additional detail, a commit message, but heavily skewed the presentation and omitted facts
he used a tiny news item to then derail into linux kernel contributors, to push his anti-"AI" stance and sperg more about the Linux Foundation

I'm not sure if he deleted it, or not. He's made quite a few videos in a similar vein to that at least. Literally every time there is a story, or people talking about deanonymizing the internet Lunduke jumps on it, and makes a video saying something like "I don't WANT this to happen, but it looks like this is the only choice we have to save the internet, I guess we need to start requiring 3 forms of id to log into your twitter account now".

Seriously it's one of the only things he has actually been consistent on. He really doesn't like internet privacy.

Now that I think about it he probably avoids mentioning Kiwi Farms because we are all anonymous and don't dox ourselves like he would want us to.

He seems more than happy to mention 4chan though.

Like every time he brings up the lawsuit its 4chans lawyer, and sometimes kiwifarms is tangentially involved in it. That's what you might think if you only heard about it from lunduke.

I think listening to people like lunduke say it doesn't matter because we have free speech here in America, is a completely foolish way of looking at things.

The level of free speech we have depends upon the people we have in government, and if they are willing to completely disregard 1st Amendment rights to shut up their critics.

Like in the case I linked. He sent police to that womans house. As far as I know she wasn't arrested, but it's an obvious scare tactic to shut that down, while still technically not being unconstitutional (as far as I know).

Or you can look at Edward Snowden, we have the 1st Amendment, and I believe the information he shared was in the interest of the general population, but that doesn't matter. They would have probably executed him if he didn't get away.

Nobody is anonymous on 4chan though, they block VPNs. All posters are effectively doxable when their IP gets leaked.

This is a side tangent, but it feels fitting considering he's started to become the punching bag in the programmer sphere. Theo is overdue for a thread at this point. He keeps making himself look like a complete and utter retard and the time for him to get his own thread is drawing closer and closer.

The title of the video says 4chan only, but he says 4chan... And kiwifarms.

I think their is another video where he basically does the same thing about the lawsuit. But you should get the idea from this. And in the more recent ones I think he only says 4chan.
