Fortunately, a FOSS license limits the effect of such sperg outs:

It doesn't immediately retroactively nuke your right to the code you're already using, but it certainly does lock you out of any future updates, including for severe security issues that could crop up tomorrow. So you could still be forced to change something you've come to depend on without any warning.

In this case, that didn't happen because the idiot was promptly removed from the project, but it's partly why people are leery to adopt such things. Ambiguous licensing terms motivated by people's weird, twitchy politics can always be a mess. Outside of fairly time-tested variants like the GPL, these things often come across as a legal ticking time bomb. As autistic as RMS can be, you can be pretty sure he isn't just suddenly going to change everything or put up with anyone else trying to do that.

It's a distribution of coreboot, pre packaged into flashable ROM files that are blob free. While coreboot mostly gets used by Google selling Chromebooks, Libreboot was designed to be flashed on old laptops that could run without any sort of binary blob.

Leah Rowe also invested some money into porting libreboot to other platforms and a lot of the heavy work has been done by other contributors (including the contributors that Leah paid to port Libreboot to other platforms), which led to some angry contributors when Leah turned the libreboot site into a soap box back in 2016.

How hard is it for an NHS doc to geld someone? or is it that Thai doctors don't make you run the psych-eval mill? 90k is a lot of cash tho, especially considering all the work that paid it is put online for everyone to use.

Troons LITERALLY CAN'T WAIT for the surgery (the NHS makes you wait for everything as well, not just SRS but it's worse for that because of psych eval), and they also just have to go to the highest rated surgeon they can find on Reddit even if it means it'll cost $20k and a plane ticket + hotel.
