Diseased Open Source Software Community - it's about ethics in Code of Conducts

It's kind of sad. When I am 80, I want to look back on my life and remember going out and having fun with my homies. Not working on some obscure OS that no one but me and 3 other people will use.
Yeah sure whatever.

...but can your operating system easily wi-sync your wallpaper on all of your boxes to your current furry waifu on the click of a button? (JK. Commandline rules)
I don't think so retard.

All jokes aside. Being able to dick about with your OS is fun in the same way that some people like to tune their cars. If something irritates you in windows you're usually stuck with it but on an open OS you can fuck with it to your heart's desire.
It is still a trade-off though and there's a whole world of new problems you're opening yourself up to. You can usually fix them however.

Don't worry, someone will find some woke reason to be offended by "main" as well. Just give it some time. Then they'll have to update it again. And again. And again. It's just a minor change, right?
How about it's disrespectful to other cultures to force American sensibilities on international projects?
For all their globalist ideals, the woke are as ignorant of the outside world as some inbred redneck standing on top of his trailer waving the Confederate flag.

To think in the 90s and 00s (What would become) the SJWs were bitching about Euro- and American-centerism how "everything revolved around Europe and America"
Now they think (to a lesser extent) Europe and (to the most largest extent) America applies to the whole world

StapleButter / Arisotura, author of the best Nintendo DS emulator melonDS, got the surgery. Pour one out for his balls.

I have response for this: Think all global cities, now think what they have in common? Did you see it? Everything, just poor people's langague and the poor themselves change. But what's the diference in a mega city in USA, Europa, South America, Asia, Africa if you have money? Almost none, they don't see the change. And everything that isn't a "world trending" isn't good.

Nothing of value was lost

Disagree. Staple was one of the good ones. We need that autismal talent to make good emulators.
I was hoping some sense would be talked into him, but once you mutilate your genitals, it's too late to ever recover.
50/50 chance he's the next emudev to suicide after Rachel and Meepingsnesroms now.
Troon degeneracy notwithstanding, that would be a loss.

i've met a lot of programmers who troon out, every single one of the degenerates into a shadow of their former selves after the chop.

i've seen plenty of trannies keep going just fine after a social transition, but once they lose their dick it's all over.

RIP emulation.

I don't even get why someone would want an obscure OS, other than an open source one that you modify as a hobby. But that's a pretty dorky hobby. Otherwise, the only reason I can think of is to be basically an OS hipster.
If you do any amount of research into alternate OS models (Plan 9, Oberon, Lisp Machines, etc.), you'll feel a crushing sense of melancholy for what could have been. Some people just let that feeling overtake them.
