I've personally been a big fan of some of Eric's content over the years, but holy shit, this is honestly one of the more embarrassing ads I've seen from everyone involved.

A lot of the enjoyment from the Eric Andre show was that incredibly ridiculous (but pre-planned) stunts interrupted mundane moments to unsuspecting people, so you frequently saw actual celebrities have these amazing bewildered reactions. This ad completely misses the point by making EVERYTHING scripted. The destruction, the people with computers running shitty browsers, it's all planned out. And it's very obvious there's no genuine reactions from anyone.

It's a shame too, because one of my favorite Eric andre bits is where he walks into a computer repair store with a laptop. It's amazing how this 30 second unscripted bit is easily way funnier then the entire three minute Opera ad:

Anyways, why Opera would ever think making your web browser play a loud unskippable jumpscare video (regardless of your settings) would ever have gone over well is beyond me.
