OSRS / Old School Runescape - Medieval Cookie Clicker

I’ll always remember when Pride was cancelled the first thing that faggot said was, “well me and my friends spend lots of money during pride”, not realizing that he’s admitting that Pride is just purely about consumerism, and that Pride people will always be the smaller percent of any given population.
People have said it before, but even ignoring that their excuse was it was an Event, akin to holidays, as to why it was originally added and not polled, given that it's now removed I think they could safely poll "should we continue development of new pride cosmetics and event quests?" and it would fail. I assume polls still need a majority of like 75% if not more (I haven't looked at a poll lately tbh) to pass but I guarantee it wouldn't pass.

They'd never do it but I would love to see the tranny seething and how they feel "betrayed" by the playerbase.

It's extremely funny to see the cope and seethe of the trannies after getting hit with "Oh so it's not political when it's added without being polled, but it's political when it's removed?"
And then the troons, with no self-reflection whatsoever (looking at mirrors makes them kill themselves) go "YES????" as if not understanding that it completely obliterates whatever point they were trying to make.

What does "me and my friends spend lots of money during pride" even mean? I saw someone say it once in the context of giving their friends bonds to member up which just proves they're not a part of the active player base of osrs if anything. The event itself was always f2p too so that's clearly bullshit and an attempt to bluff jagex into keeping this shit in the game
What else could it mean? Buying bonds to turn in for gp? How'd that be related to pride? That's a bluff as well for sure
Anyway, kill redditors

Settled's new Sailing Only IronMan series has exceeded the expectation of quality OSRS content I have placed upon him.

Episode 1

Episode 2

So sailing turned out to be better than what I was expecting, but still not nearly as good as the content released earlier this year. I'm already bored of it. During the launch though I was lurking the runescape discord and saw someone posting with the discord tag TTD, nice to see that represented. Salvaging chat is unfortunately just as awful as forestry.

I just realised I've never even tried trawling. Is it worth it?
I was looking at cooking the fish for profit and the money doesn't look terrible for skilling. End game sailing is just salvaging as far as I'm concerned, combat feels terribly implemented and I've heard nothing good about trawling.

They said they don't want combat to be a particularly core part of the skill, as they designed it largely with it being a normal skill. Still, they added it, so I feel like they just didn't put much thought into it. Still they wanna tweak rates and otherwise look at it I think the newspost said.

I think Rendi is half based notwithstanding his williamsburg 2011 aesthetic he's sporting these days. He edits his own videos which I respect, enjoying his slave skelly mode series.

Remember when he did inferno in a dog crate on a laptop while his girlfriend filmed him?

If you get a Gryphon task, dismantle your slay helm. The mask is 8kg heavier.

Real men just wear the turtle cape and eat a diet of various fruits and veggies as they drop (don’t forget to bring BTP)

The boss one I just POH pool/spec down and tank the knock back, also one of the first content I’m using my surge pots (the cooldown resets on pool use)

I get that they've said that, but then why did they lock the dragon hook behind combat? It would have made much more sense to put the cannon barrel with the sharks and the hook with salvage. Instead they force us into the combat.

Hooks dropping from sharks and cannons dropping from salvage at least makes sense; setting aside that this is a fantasy game and just logically thinking about it, a shark would have to be awfully retarded to eat a metal cannon. This is the first of three? sailing phases/releases and I expect they'll release bosses, etc. that you can get hooks and cannons from in the future. Folks need to temper their fomo for dragon cannons/hooks given they aren't that much better than the rune versions.

I get the desire for the best stuff too, but sailing combat is retardedly painful. Besides any changes to maybe acquiring cannonballs and damage values, maybe a good compromise would be to lower the penalty on damage for player damage, so that if you have a crew to steer the boat and man a cannon you can also take charge yourself by blasting it down so that it dies quicker. I think I saw people using like a tbow early on in the launch craze but that's endgame even if it ends up being decent damage despite the reduction.
