Regardless of one's stance on San Diego, that city has a homeless problem if you ever went to down town. There was also a scare over hepatitis a few months back.

The secret to loving San Diego is staying on/in Coronado, Balboa, La Jolla, Miramar and only going down town in the summer months when the PD actively rounds up/kicks out bums while never fucking ever going to Hillcrest, Imperial or San Ysidro.

Also Santee is fine since its all well to do or rich Mexicans who HATE other Mexicans

Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Overpriced, massive congestion, even beach access a huge pain in the ass in many parts of the Cape these days. Just not a lot of fun.
I was going to say this. It's a giant kitschy tourist trap. The only reason anyone goes to Cape Cod is because everyone in Massachusetts is incredibly provincial. Even Old Orchard Beach is an improvement.
not that I don't want to go there this summer

I agree, but I'll add a caveat about morbidly obese men from Quebec in speedos. With disturbing amounts of body hair. Isn't there any place to go to the ocean in Canada? :\

Funny, because I was going to add that the gays with money have all abandoned Provincetown for places like OOB. Apparently the place is a dump these days. Not that it wasn't before, but also no longer in the fun way.

The water in Canada is going to be a lot colder than the water off of Hyannisport. Even the water in Revere is usually pretty chilly. I assume that's why.

Going to Niagara Falls soon. I’ll let you all know how much I hate it when i get back.
Holy shit Niagara Falls sucks so much ass. Just arrived on the Canadian side. It’s all over priced parking, crowded restaurants, and niggers and Indians in the streets. The lights and music from the wheels and casinos take away from the natural splendor of the falls.

I just got in tonight and there’s fireworks and stuff. I know it’ll be better tomorrow because the guy at the hotel said “oh yeah parking will be $25 tonight and probably $4 tomorrow.” So avoid on the weekends.

Bermuda's an absolutely beautiful island, one of my favourite places I've ever been, but there isn't much to do there, mainly because it's tiny. I would love to go back there because I enjoy the quaint, tranquil atmosphere, but I've already visited once and did pretty much everything there was to do.
Any West Indies island is an overrated shithole. You might think you're getting a good deal and it looks pretty within the confines of a resort, but wait until you catch something in the water or get bitten by some bug. You'll puke and shit to death.

Hawaii would've been a nice alternative if it wasn't ruined by Asian tourists. Same with South Florida, if it wasn't ruined by South Americans and Russians.

With everybody complaining about Paris, I can see why "Paris Syndrome" prevails in certain countries like Japan. My mom has always wanted to travel there (the only other European country we visited was Italy 4 years ago, and we didn't have any problems in Rome or Venice), but given the responses and the current terrorist situation, it really breaks her heart to know it won't be happening anytime soon.

Why do people always want to go to San Diego? It's overrated and San Juan Capistrano is way better.

Vegas I guess? I'm not a heavy drinker and have zero interest in gambling. The streets are dirty and crowded and I do poorly in extreme heat. The last time I was dragged there it was on the way to the Grand Canyon and there was a truck on fire on the side of the highway leading into the strip.

Time Square . It’s nothing like what Jack Kerouac described, and it's not a walk on the wild side. It's just a tourist trap crawling with beggars and scaggy Elmos.

Disney World. Went there as a young kid and it was overcrowded and just a mess. High prices and crowded restaurants, nowhere to sit. We were trying to get something to eat and my dad held a table for mom and I while we stood in line to order. These rude foreign guys who spoke no English cut in line in front of me and mom and my dad ran up and got in their faces and almost got into a fight, it was crazy. No fight, but I was so upset I didn't want to eat my lunch after we'd waited so long for it.

The only upside is just that my parents took me thinking it would be a good time. They get a gold star for trying.

Mexico. It's hot and dry and you might get Montezuma's Revenge by drinking the water. Also the cops are corrupt and will arrest you and take all your money. People mostly come down there to drink, party, or get drugs.
There are way better beach places to go to than Mexico.

Los Angeles. Tourists always want to visit LA because of Hollywood. People who live in California hate it because it's overcrowded and the traffic is fucking hell. It's also full of bums and Typhoid when you go in the shithole spots. Central California is a way better area to vacation in. LA is also 20 degrees hotter than the rest of Southern California because of the location.

I really didn’t like visiting the south part of France. There’s two types of traveling: when you visit a fun place with fun things to do like partying, ( ex: tropical countries) idk; and visiting a place to see its history and culture (ex: old European countries). When I visited Monaco and some small french cities, I was really taken back by their beauty. I saw some lavander farms and I thought to myself “Wow, this is fucking beautiful.”

And then we would visit some old shitty French town, do nothing but explore that shit all day and go back to the hotel. It was boring as fuck. Nice was beautiful but our hotel room was hot as fuck and the employers were rude.
I remember going in one of that rock beaches in Nice with my lil bro and he started to play with some kid, who was dumb af and threw a rock at him. His grandparents were either dumb or racist, because they both saw it and didn’t do anything (probably because they saw I wasn’t from France, when they asked me a question in French and I was visibly confused).

I have more stories.

NYC was hot and miserable when I went there for vacation.

Conversely, I really enjoyed a three day weekend I spent in Lincoln, Nebraska which wasn't really a pleasure trip but I had fun anyway.

Amsterdam.

Nothing but drunks, whores, weed, bad food and tacky shit in general.

Destin, Florida. Or the beach in general.

Both times I went it was cold and windy, and the win blew the sand like it was machine gun bullets. Sand feels weird and there's sticks and shit that can stick on your foot and hurt you both in and out of the water. Also stepping on dead jellyfish.

I'm on board with Paris. Our room was horrifically overpriced and unbelievably small. The hotel claimed the room to have two beds. It was two mattresses pushed together. That's one bed, and the bed was about the size of the room. Every single restaurant we went to had the same exact menu, and by god was the service and food there absolutely terrible. I recall having one good meal (an incredibly good panini in a very cute hole in the wall type of joint) but other than that, I really didn't enjoy the food, and especially not the desserts.

However, having never been to Europe before, I found Paris to be really astounding to look at. I loved all the cathedrals and architecture. I'd go again if only for a day trip and nothing else. I liked most of rural France that we saw (Mont Saint Michel and Bayeux) and wouldn't mind going back for that.

Another horrible place? Bahamas. I stayed at Atlantis, and the city closest to it, Nassau. Atlantis is cool, but I typically don't go on vacation and only stay at the hotel, but by god is that what I wanted to do in the Bahamas. I loved the weather and the people were very pleasant, but Nassau itself was horribly dilapidated and in desperate need of some TLC. Not a lot of sight seeing and not a lot of good food. I loved all the pink buildings but not much else.

So if you're a staying in the hotel kinda person? Would highly recommend Atlantis. One of a kind resort with lots of things to do, but Nassau is best to be avoided. I also got a severe back injury that left me unable to get out of bed by myself because of a boat tour we went on there. Do not recommend.

Also a quick one, Roswell. A total disappointment, an absolute let down. There's remnants of a beloved tourist town there, but it's left to slowly rot, unfortunately.
