I wouldn't be shocked in the least if they did suddenly announce that he's trans or non-binary. After all, we know it's impossible for a feminine man with a flower motif to be both cis and straight, right guys?

I love the notion that in 2060 or whatever that in Overwatch lore - you can literally have a robot monk with a soul that is capable of rendering people literally invulnerable but "Transgender" is still a dedicated class of people.

Like they don't pass now and even in Overwatch's brighly colored future they still can't convinclgly turn men into women or vice versa. We have anthropomorphic soldiers that are Hamsters or Apes but never dedicated time into the whole Sexual Reassignment Surgery.

If they were smart they would just sneak in that Mercy/D.va whatever was born a man instead of declaring a weirdo tranny character.

A tranny hero would fit wonderfully in OW world to be fair, what with Mengele Moira and all that. I'm sure she could fit some time in her busy schedule of making manmade horrors beyond comprehension to make one more. Like a nice little weekend project. Unless they troon her out.

Lowkey I'd be pissed if they trooned her. It's refreshing to see a non steyotypicaly sexy and vaguely GNC anti-bimbo for once. Trooning her out would destroy that image. I think zarya would be safe from the troonening, since that would probably majorly piss the Russian fanbase off and i d imagine losing an entire country's worth of players would be a huge blow.(They already don't like she's got pink hair and is dykish looking)

God, what a pathetic shadow of itself has this game become. No longer any talk about it is about the game play but about which character is gayer than the next. To emphasize that point further and in celebration of pride month the OW team has removed the cop cars from the game and painted the pedestrian crosswalks with rainbow stripes.

The new pve is the demon from 4 years ago, my expectations were in lava but apparently needed the be in the Earth's core. I do not know how a live service game can be like log in in 3 months and it "might" be OK. They have written off Season 5 already before it even started.

They aren't owned by Microsoft yet and Blizzard has been over-monetizing every game they've ever made since like 2008.

This does take a huge set of balls though - $15 for literal scraps of a cancelled mode.

That was the lead artist of Paladins (ThunderBrush) doing and a lot of the player base hated his guts for it, He is gone now.
