Fans of this gender blob are more than happy with this lack of content because it makes them feel seen shows that Blizzard 'cares'. She's not a skin seller nor is she a porn grab; dumping any money into her would be a stupid decision even if they had any.

These days I think money is going into nabbing IPs for collaborations to convince people to buy skins because what's left of their creative and 3D modeling teams is so shit nobody purchases battle pass or 'seasonal' skins anymore.

(I did enjoy the look of their Optimus Rein skin and the Transformers trailer, though I didn't purchase it.)

Speaking of Venture (or DEI-turd), the voice actor Valeria Rodríguez is having a meltdown on Twitter/X today. And she is pissed off because she's being criticized for her shitty modern voice acting and she's going on "video game strike" while attacking the fans criticizing her.

The new trailer is pretty sad. I've just been playing with irls and haven't look at the recent ones until the season 12 trailer. Like 30 seconds is spent showing they have a new gamemode and they remade some of the old 2cp maps. 5x of that runtime is spend on the battlepass and cosmetics. All the comments on the trailer is talking about shitty cosmetics. This game is doomed and I hope blizzard gets fucked lol.

As a voice actor, when mobile game decides to have you replaced due to backlash, you done fucked up. These gacha games have some of the laziest, uneven voice acting across the board even from relatively large companies in the space. And they keep it in. If it was so god awful for the end user that you were replaced, newsflash: git gud, scrub.

Imagine going out of your way to hurl insults at a Twitter user called Normal Degen Behaviour.

Something I've noticed with all the games that copied TF2's payload mode is that they all forget one of the best parts of TF2's version. The giant fucking explosion at the end of the match. It's the perfect exclamation point at the end of your victory and it's just outright fun. Even in OW's payload maps where the payload is a bomb there's no explosion, you just cap it and that's it. It's a very flaccid ending to a match.

Maybe, but it's either you cancel it completely or it has a HUGE impact.

In DotA, hitting ultis is not a instant win huge flashy shit. It has huge impact, but it can still comeback, that's why when heroes clash they can shoot all 5 ultis and the fight is not decided.

Not in OW though; ults are either broken heal or enormous damage; no use or utility.

At higher level play the entire metagame becomes managing ultimates so your deathball can overcome the opposing team's deathball.
They're made incredibly un-impactful because the players are too good at avoiding them and also central to winning the round, which is a recipe for tedium and frustration.

Haven't played since 2019, decided to dip my toe back in and looked up some vids to see what the general vibe of the game is and... holy shit, this new batch of OW streamers are pretentious fucks. Constant condescension, useless advice, and their pervasive need to lick blizzards balls makes me hope they all jump off a cliff.

The game itself is fucked. I'm a tank main and when I go dva/sig I feel invincible, but when I switch to support it's a 50/50 whether the sole tank throws or not. Dps are non-entities. I had a comp game as zen where both dps got assblasted and decided to throw only for us to sweep the enemy team. I didn't even realize they were sitting in spawn all game until after the 3rd enemy team wipe. Anyone saying 5v5 is better than 6v6 is smoking some real shit.

Considering the Dev team is buffing Support heroes by only making them deal more damage instead of, you know, buffing their healing ability since that is what makes them useful, no wonder the game is so fucked.

Just look at the absolute retardation these devs do and then try to justify:

Both of these heroes can make you win or lose depending on if the player focuses on keeping you alive or being another retard in the team dealing only damage that is situational at scoring a death that counts.

Yeah, Juno's very fun. She's kind of like a Lucio sidegrade that feels more impactful, and you can get some absolutely disgustingly high healing numbers with her. Playing Juno is honestly the most fun I've had in Overwatch for well over a year at this point.
She's apparently dogshit in the higher ranks though, she can't do anything against long-range hitscans, and a good Genji is a death sentence for her. Might mean they'll buff her and make her disgustingly OP in low elo though, like they did with Sombra.

Why say Overwatch is on Game Pass when it's already free to play? What, a few extra skins and such? Doesn't it being free already defeat the purpose of it being with a subscription model?
