Also, it looks like Sojourn's just another typical DPS. The slide is similar to McCree's roll, and the bomb is just Orisa's halt.
Also, the ultimate is just a raygun version of McCree's Deadeye that only focuses on a single path.

THIS is the character that is supposed to incentivize people who left the game to come back after YEARS of no new champions?

This game has had some sort of amputee fetish from the start where many of the cast members are missing an arm, a leg, an eye, etc. and have cybernetic implants as replacements and this new character goes full quadrupled amputee. I'm sorry but she's is weird to look at. The effect is even more pronounced because unlike the other characters with limb implants that have distinctive colors to highlight the mechanical nature of these, hers are skin toned so there is this unsettling uncanny valley effect at play here.

Congrats Blizzard, you made her design oft putting enough to drive more people away.

SJWs have been complaining about the lack of black females in the game for years. Sojourn is a bone being thrown to them. The problem is that despite a small vocal minority of the player base clamoring for more dusky females, she's a really shitty character to act as the marquee character for a new game. Not only is her design incredibly generic and ugly, it kinda belies the original selling point of Overwatch: sexy characters for people to jerk it to.

Her colour scheme makes it feel like I'm losing the colour in my vision save for the bright red lights. Can they at least make her skin look less dead by saturating it? My headcanon for her is that she's a corpse animated by tech.

They have a cinematic in development about Soujorn. They showed a couple seconds of it. Looks like its gonna be about her frumpy retirement.

Her gun gameplay is builder/spender in that her rapid fire shots build up energy for her railgun alternate fire shot. Her ability is an AOE slowing field she can fire and lay down "to help line up railgun shots" that also does damage over time. Her ult lets her spam her railgun shots.

As does this character. In the dev diary they mention that while some of her cybernetics may have been out of necessity, many were voluntarily replaced.

I feel most of the overwatch characters was just another case of style over substance. But then again, I feel like the entire game from its announcement was designed as porn and cosplay bait.
