Someone wrote an article about the old man's feet.

And Twitter finds it ableist or something.

I suppose they forgot about how stereotypical everyone else was written. (Gotta have that gay fanfic material, after all)

They're enforcing some "League meta" bullshit into quickplay. For a game that launched with the idea that you could pick a character on the fly. Fucking dropped.

It's pretty much a FPS themed party game for Christ's sake, there's no need for this faggotry in casual mode. For a game they try to shoehorn gay characters in so often I can't believe they did something this faggy.

I agree, but, considering Overwatch's current game balance (that DPS are generally less effective than other characters) locking people into roles will lead to more balanced matches in casual instead of having one team run wild on the other because someone picked the wrong hero class.

It's one of the few things that I with TF2 had the balls to do (putting in a 9v9 highlander casual mode).

I might've sperged prematurely, apparently they're keeping "Classic QP" in addition to forcing this new mode, but it's faggotry nonetheless imo. Keep all of the meta shit relegate to Comp with the rest of the tryhards, iif I'm in the mood for a serious squad based shooter, I'm not firing up fucking Overwatch of all games.

So you know how Overwatch's SJW following won't shut the fuck up about "muh black wymyn"? Here we have an artist who palette-swapped Ashe (a white woman), because one of her original concept art drawings was black. Naturally, woke Twitter was all over it:

At this rate, they're never going to stop hounding the Overwatch dev team. Even if they do add a black woman character, these people will find some kind of fault in them. Not black enough, not thicc enough, not sassy enough, no African American Vernacular English (yes this is a real term). They will shit up every single Overwatch discussion from now until the game's inevitable death, and Jeff Kaplan and the dev team have nobody to blame but themselves. They should have paid closer attention to the SJW fanbase they were catering to, realizing that these people are never happy, no matter what. Talk about a house built on quicksand.

The people who complain about character designs are the ones who don’t play the game, and the ones that do are hardstuck in silver playing mercy lol
They're most likely the ones who spend more time shipping the characters and arguing with people over things like their sexuality rather than actually playing the game.

Ironically, I think loot boxes become less valuable over time as new skins are added to the game because 1) with more skins in the game, you are less likely to get the skin you want in a box (ie you can no longer "target" the skins you want by buying lootboxes); and 2) with the way skins are priced, you are penalized for buying/opening loot boxes if you haven't unlocked all the older, cheaper skins first.

Well this is a thing apparently.

Funny thing is that no matter what character they release next the OverWoke community (used all my braincells for that snappy name, yessir), is that they'll still be unhappy. The next character could be a goddamn desexualized Grace Jones riding a wheelchair with an Antifa flag sticking out of the back, and they'd still be upset by something.

Let's not forget that with every new event they introduce a new batch of about a dozen or so new sprays to further dilute the chances of ever getting the content you want, plus there is no way to obtain the in-game currency other than the damn loot boxes and that is even supposing you get currency as a drop.

I hate the lack of options on that regard. The game would be so much better if there were other alternatives to get currency like daily rewards or challenges that you could meet by merely playing. Worse, the game's arcade mode demands of the player to win 3 games in order to give you an extra loot box, which means that if you lose the frustration is double as you get nothing on top of the defeat.
(Also, the drop rates and what you get is being heavily manipulated. One of my least played characters is Sombra, no more than 10 minutes total and yet the fucking game insist on giving me all her Legendary and Epic skins as some sort of sick incentive for me to use her more. No Overwatch, I'm not going to play with that fucking cunt because I despise her, stop giving me her skins!)

Anyone who buys loot boxes is subhuman.

As messed up as the game is Paladins allows you to earn in game currency for just playing even when not playing against a full team of people. Though it being a free game means it's only one of the currencies it has and this excludes the battle pass shit. Thing is people were happy about Blizz diluting the duplicate drop rate but to me that doesn't mean anything when you're dumping more and more items into what is already a large ocean of items.

It would make sense for an option to only obtain skins for characters you play like the characters you spend the most hours playing but then again that will only reinforce the issue of people being stingy only playing a single or like two or three characters and refusing to switch off (Because the fandom in general is very whiny about everything). The hilarious thing is that I believe every new event you play you get a free lootbox which is guaranteed to have a legendary in order to incentivize constant play to get more. I almost think it's intentional a legendary given to a character you don't even play at all so that you will play and get legendaries for characters you do like.
