So I was clearing out old files and thought this might be nice to put into the record. I had long forgotten the password until I looked up the GRE Command IRC Channel log.. You will never guess what the password is.. Well you might but I couldn't.. I really hope that is a good thing. Regardless.. The Plan dot doc.

The only people aware of this plan was Moonchild, myself, and Athenian200 .. later moonbat and khronosscoty. Aside from Moonchild's code sabotage and the push to fail shit at the end the plan up till that point worked perfectly. Had it been allowed to continue as intended maybe one day a few years down the road when I learned to deal with people a little better I could .. talk to people again. But I now know that was never an option but I don't know if I could have chosen anything else except get out when I should have which was the moment JustOff showed up. Hell I am still in it all just excluded. But there are more things than xul ON THE OTHER HAND there are more things that COULD be xul. So there you are.

Moonchild's code sabotage

Do you know if Pale Moon has ever had straight up malware inside of it or its extensions?

Except for the compromising of Wolfbeast's Windows Server acting as the Archive server where some older installer files were messed with but they tried to hide and make it look like it happened months before but the intrusion happened much closer to discovery and the HOST blamed another vm on the node. I think it was someone in the DC its self.. But we will never know. I however BLAME Moonchild for having an internet facing Windows Server when there are no GOOD digital ocean type instructions he can follow to the letter that will at least keep it REASONABLY safe like the linux has.

Other than that there has been no form intentional or otherwise of malware within anything involving Pale Moon and co since *I* have been involved and no real evidence there was before that.

As far as extensions go. There has been no case of any extension being pushed out from the Service with an infection by something or be coded in a way that would broadly harm users such as sending all your shit back to them. Though a few skated close from some perspectives. JustOff's leaving of the Add-ons Site for one which you can find the conclusion of the JustOff Saga on the forums still. Check it out.. It was my finest bit of strategic work and defense planning I ever achieved. Would have been second if the GRE Plan had been truly carried out. Of course Ukraine took the thunder out of that five year hard earned victory.

I mean what is the point in a victory over a somewhat devious fuckhead if they are just gonna get killed cause of some stupid geopolitical horseshit. This man who made it his mission to counter me for five years finally defeated.. and I swear to god if that if the fact that I defeated him JUST BEFORE THE WARTHING is even a contributing FACTOR to why I am out on my not-so-fat-anymore ass.. I will be so fuckin disappointed. Cause god damn it.. if you're gonna get rid of me at least have a creative fuckin reason if not a moral one. Damn sure wasn't for me intimidating another project into destroying its self using nothing but 2 guys and the text of the MPL. THAT remains okay behavior to them.

EDIT: It feels pretty gross defending the project these days by simple fact of not having super secret evil botnet plots coded deep in rdf or some other ridiculous shit to reveal regarding code and stuff. His code sabotage in GRE was not something malicious insofar that wouldn't do anything more than express a broken feature but not obviously by a glance. Which was required to get me in a position to freak the fuck out when the release so carefully planned and executed for months was botched. Otherwise we all live happily ever after and no one wants THAT.
