Post whatever interesting Paleo art here.
It doesn't matter if the art is old and outdated or new and current.
This could become a Paleontology discussion thread if you want it to.

Genuinely terrifying that these things existed. They had a wingspan of approximately 10-12 meters (that is, 33-39 feet) and they would regularly hunt the dwarf saurpods that lived on the island with them.

I really do like more modern paleoart but I would be severely disappointed if we didn't have Charles R Knight on the first page of this thread:

I've heard there can be quite a lot of drama in the paleo art community (mostly around feathers/proto feathers/skin texture), can anyone more in the know confirm?

I wish I knew the name of the dinosaur binders I had a subscription to as a kid, I would love to look at the art in there again, even if it is incredibly out dated.

Please enjoy some Spinosaurus images, I do often prefer when he is drawn a bit more chunky to get that real crocodilian look, even if it is not entirely correct.

Controversial choice here, but I used to have a book titled "The Great Dinosaur Mystery and the Bible" that featured a lot of cool artwork from across the globe (because I don't think one person painted all the pictures). The book gets mocked a lot, but I think it's unfair to overlook the artwork that was featured in it since there's some neat stuff in it. A blog features some of it here and there.

My personal choices from memory that was in the blog:

A depiction of Gilgamesh and the monster of the cedar forest:

This image haunted me as a kid and was why I still remembered this book 'cause I was trying to remember the dinosaur, albeit I had to hunt down the title of it.

These two I believe are original art pieces that was made for the book, but I think they're neat.

Jon Conway still is my favorite, his Tyrannosaur portrait still is probably my favorite piece of paleo-art ever.

Also love his portrayal of Inostrancevia thought I’m biased because it’s my favorite prehistoric animal

This one is sort of interesting to me. The art is obviously based on a cassowary and it makes the Eotyrannus look kind of derpy - but not as derpy as one of the old 90s style illustrations in the newspaper clippings in the article. Not the John Sibbick one. Definitely not the John Sibbick one. The new illustration looks like one of those images that makes mild retards honk "science ruined dinosaurs!", but at the same time, imagine one of those moseying up to you, all calm and innocent, and suddenly taking a bite out of your shoulder.
