What's your favorite pals? I'll start.

I like this guy, he's a cool dude.

aren't those Work Suitabilities higher than usual?
That's not the reason. All those reddit gold equivalents while assigned to your post will give you steam points. And then you can spend those points on an animated background for your steam profile from your favourite hentai game. Some people farm those fucking clowns as a part-time job.

I've been loving the game so much. Quivern and Cremis are so precious. I love the simple designs a lot too, for me it helps them have more personality in the way they act and their animations.

HOWEVER, if I hear one more dickhead on YouTube say that "they clearly stole the giant tree from Elden Ring" I'm gonna fucking scream.

Nigger that is one of the biggest standard JRPG tropes for the last 20 years behind Kill God/Power of Friendship.

Let alone it is blatantly a Norse mythology reference.

Sorry I had to seethe about that one thing.

Dude! I can't believe they stole the giant tree from Bump of Chicken's Yggdrassil album's cover art!

I can't believe they stole the giant tree from Final Fantasy 9!

I can't believe they stole the giant tree from a Duel Monsters card!

Wait a minute... it's almost like giant trees are a common Japanese theme.

Shame the giant tree is only skyboxing. You can't actually go to it

think I read earlier too that higher quality of food has a latent buff for your creatures so it turns out my new mining center is both work and day spa while I get the berries for me.
Not only does higher quality food buff your pals, your pals will also take fewer lunch breaks. Pals have a sort of Minimum food bar they try to reach while eating, and a minimum food bar that causes them to leave work. If you feed them nothing but baked berries, they'll stop for lunch much more frequently than with high quality, satiating food. You can also micromanage your pals by starving them while they work, before putting out food. They'll eat several times up to their minimum level.

I don't want to turn this thread into just posting asmongold videos, but they are funny in the amount of salt they generate. One of the latest was some guy from Riot games saying that copying is okay when they do it because they (Riot) "do the work", but Palworld doesn't.

As for some other things Palworld stole. Going up some stairs and out of a cave to reveal a big vista is stolen from Elden Ring, Pokemon, and Breath of the Wild. It's amazing how in what feels like a couple of weeks from "IP rights shouldn't exist" to "big corporations own the right to the concept of trees, animals, and vistas".

A bit off topic, but I remember back in the early 2010s when you companies trying to claim ownership of generic things like Marvel and DC trying to claim they own "super hero", Games Workshop claiming they own "space marines", and Bethesda claiming to own the word "scrolls". If that happened these days, you'd get nutters on Twitter defending them. Even the guy that sued everyone who used the word "edge" would have supporters if he had the right opinions and consoomed the right product.

So I’ve mainly stuck to my original base, only making a second one to farm coal/ore and probably make the third a breeding area, and like many I made mine by that pond/bridge area near the original spawn point. So I’ve been concerned about space since part of the base outline was essentially underwater and unusable for building.

Today I realized there’s just enough land on the edge of the pond to build foundations, so now I have half my house and two sets of automated production lines hanging over the water, letting the Pals easily get to it and freeing up a ton of space.

I really do hope they do something about base limits within guilds. We have a dedicated server for 5 of us, the size limit is becoming an issue because of how differently we prioritise things.

Though one guy wants to sacrifice an entire base to hatching eggs (retarded), would be fine if the cap was not 3 bases.

I know we could seperate the guild but I'm seeing so much reports of it corrupting saves on dedicated servers, but then we also cannot share resources or play as well together.

Hatching eggs or breeding eggs?
