Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

I’ve decided the best way to fortify my base is to take one of the Pals I’m using there with me while I go grind a bit, so I can have all the Pals working there at least lvl 40.

Yeah I've been switching out some of the pals so they can gain passive experience quicker.
I don't necessarily it will help except in the Pal-Compactor but it gives any normal thing I run into a couple of chances before I simply cap them and move on (either sphere or handgun).
Gotta get that coal and ore spot going so I can mass produce the polymer.

I think I read earlier too that higher quality of food has a latent buff for your creatures so it turns out my new mining center is both work and day spa while I get the berries for me.

I don't really know how to comment this. For some reason I did not expect something like this from their official account. Espechially gun.png. Also, how to download this short thing from youtube? I need to archive it for the future.
I like the giant extinct Pal skeletons you see in the water, too.

I maintain that some terrain really needs an overhaul. Half of the starter islands are really fucking bland and barren, and not even in a comfy way like being rolling plains or badlands.
I like to think they'll be used in the future as the equivalent of Fossil Pokemon like Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Tyrunt, etc.

I think I found a somewhat decent partner miner to Digtoise in the form of Reptyro. Its Kindling Level is at 3 like Digtoise's is but it also has a Kindling Level of three, making it a great for metal manufaturing. I managed to hatch one from a Scorching Egg (I sadly can't remember the size) and it's doing a great job in my mining camp.

I officially reached Level 35 and I can now manufacture the items necessary to craft Ultra Spheres, I managed to catch a Mammorest Cryst and a Mau Cryst beforehand but both put serious dent in the amount of Hyper Spheres I was carrying.

I'm also slowly dismantling my manufacturing operations in my second base and moving them to my third one, once that's done I'll dismantle the second base and move it to a place more suitable for farming and Pal breeding.

So I'm running a dedicated server in my basement, and there's an issue with multiple bases. Players who have ore bases with the turtles are reporting them not mining and all Pals at that base failing to eat. Has anyone else dealt with this, or is it only a dedicated server issue? Is anyone on this site even trying to run a server yet?

Its a dedicated server issue. The game tries to optimize as much as it can, but for some reason its not very consistent at the functions it pause. So when you have absolutely nobody on a server, a lot of things tend to misbehave.

I think a good QOL update would be to make it so that Pals with higher levels of gathering can hold more of an item/stack items while gathering.
I've had to run around my base to gather the ores myself because the Pals were too slow since they have to take a single ore and deliver it to the storage chest.
I've also had times where Pals will not pick up large stacks of items so I would have to split them up for the Pals.

I want to know the reasoning behind making single-shot weapons not automatically reload while they're out, especially since reloads can be freely interrupted by dodging. Lost count how many times I took out the crossbow only to see a big red zero on the loaded ammo count.

Put a chest that only contains that item by the gathering spot to save on the travel time for Pals, doesn't solve the moving items 1x1 but saves time by them not need to go over your whole base to move rocks.

To be fair, all temporal AA works like that, regardless of engine.
Temporal AA is (simplified) just retaining some of the last few rendered frames and mixes them together with the current frame to smooth out the picture and reduce Aliasing. Doing it this is way less performance intensive than other AA methods and it looks pretty good on static or slowly moving scenes.
Its just that this "mixing with old frames" generally happens to the entire image and that causes motion blur.
TAA is cancer and made developers lazy, so many games since the 8th generation onwards look way blurrier than they should because of it.

Wow, the replies are begging for another one...

Finally, something less deviant than Lovander.

At least if you count anime as less deviant than furries.
Chillet does an aheago when petted. So not that much less deviant

They do automatically reload, just inconsistently.

Has anyone found a good source for Bones anywhere? I know it’s limited to Pal drops but I’d like it if there was a more consistent source (other than hunting Rushoar/Vixy) since it’s needed to make Cement.
>Jolthog
>Supposedly the Pikachu of this game
>Is a Hedgehog
>An Electric Hedgehog...

Dear Christ, it's Sonichu.
THE MERGE WAS REAL!

Merchants should have it, I think.
