Something about this feels forced? Like Nintendo fucked up many times. But doesn't it seem like people only go for the money less about supporting an indie Dev?

If nothing else, I think Nintendo really lost a lot of goodwill over the Switch 2 reveal and the price hikes they forced on the industry.

This is just more of the NIDF finally realising that they're doing it for free.

Nintendo more than any other gaming company needs to crash and burn. I know plenty of people who can't justify buying switch 2 at their prices. I hope it hurts.

People are making excuses and justifications for buying the switch 2 and pokemon games in this very site where disconsent is allowed and encouraged.

Nintendo will do fine, much like Apple their main customers are people whose only personality is buying and consuming Nintendo products at this point.

This shit is all of my jam. It's not the Terraria 2 I wanted but I'll take it. I wish for Nintendo to painfully lose their lawsuit and for every bing bing wahoo simp to cry themselves to sleep over it.

The new pals look pretty cool, but I do hope we get more than just the Eye of Cthulu for a terraria enemy/pal.

I understand why, it's one of, if not the most eye-conic Terraria boss, it's practically the games mascot at this point, but I think there's so much more potential in Terraria's bestiary in terms of both bosses and enemies. Here's some examples since I've been thinking about this for a while now.

Ichor Sticker/Herpling/Blood Squid

Gastropod/Chaos Elemental (Possibly using an enchanted sword or cursed hammer)

Moss Hornet/Derpling/Mothron/Paladin/Icy Merman

All types of big Mimics

Crawltipede/Nebula Floater/Alien Queen/Star Cell

Dreadnautilus/Duke Fishron/Plantera

You see what I mean? I think the eye is fine, but there's so much more here, and seeing some of these guys not only in 3D, but in action in 3D, being able to control them, THAT would be fucking cool.

I have tested the gliders. They still work as if you were using the pal, but with the glider visual. My Galeclaw's passives and my stamina still let me pretty much glide endlessly (restart the glide every second or two to maintain altitude), and even glide reloading still works (mash jump and reload several times, you will force the reload while maintaining the glide). It's just not the same without his fat ass carrying me though. I will very likely install a mod to put the models back it place. PP did a good job though, considering the bullshit they got dealt. If you can get past the model swap, nothing actually changed.

Nintendo will never recoup any of the money they lost even if they win. It could take many years for them to get the money they lost and by then it is too late. They made their bed. Nintendo just has to cope about it.

Pretty sure the intent is never about the money; it's about taking out a rival competitor before they steal their lunch. The lawsuit is like the running cost of running a monopoly business.
