EDIT: Little Caesar's. Lol, its the only joint that even lower than Cici's. It used to be a serious place, its pizzas attempted quality. They are currently beaten out by Hunt's Brothers in quality.:shit-eating:

There's a chain called Noble Roman's that I think started as a Little Caesar's knockoff, but they've stayed reasonably good (as chain pizza goes) while Little Caesar's has gotten worse and worse. I can't honestly think of a chain pizza that is actually good. Most places out of total food wastelands have at least one local pizza place that is better than any of the chains.

It tastes like shit and is overpriced as shit goes. If you want shitty pizza buy Little Caesar's. It's cheaper.

Well, wine tastes like Robitussin to me, always has and always will, so should I dump on wine?

Taste varies; what's good to some people is trash to others. You don't have to defend your preferences or "be right"; if you don't like it, don't eat it, 's all good. If someone wants to buy Papa John's and enjoy it, it's not like they're hurting you, right?

It's just food, man. It's just food.

If someone buys Papa John's they're literally resurrecting Mecha Hitler and sending him to kill me.

He wasn't born dirt poor, but its still an impressive story. He sold a 1970s Camaro for some used pizza equipment and used an old closet space in his father's tavern in 1984, when Dominoes and Pizza Hut and a billion Rays already existed.

His chain is the third most popular in the world. From maybe middle class to looking Trump in the eye on an equal level....shit. Shnatter could have run.

Third largest in the US. He doesn’t even operate in a large part of the world. And his pizza is still shit.

Since the conversation hasn’t really been about the controversy anyway, I’ll leave this here for you guys:

I don't know how these types of things work, but did Papa John's violate confidentiality clauses when publicly announcing their dialing-down of NFL sponsorship? Either way, it seems like a bad move.

Don't companies do this all the time?

Remember recently when big name companies were pulling out of Youtube?

does anyone remember when papa johns started making gluten free pizza, but it wasn't actually completely gluten free.

"Due to the handcrafted nature of Domino's products and because stores do not have a separate gluten free area in the kitchen, a possibility for gluten exposure can occur. As such, pizza made with Domino's Gluten Free Crust is not recommended for customers with celiac disease."

There's no such thing as non-celiac gluten intolerance anyway. They did a study on it and people who claimed to have gluten intolerance who didn't have celiac were all just bullshitters. They only got "sick" from it if you told them later that something had gluten in it.

Jesus Christ, Twitter turned everyone's autism up to 11.

The only thing worse than Papa John's imo is any pizza that has pineapple on it.

exactly. Its unfair to people with celiac disease. why make gluten free pizza if the target consumer cant even fucking eat it.

Hang on, are you talking about Papa John's or Domino's?

For Papa John's salt can we include that asshole who pops up any time the chain is mentioned to complain about how John's parents' bought him the car he sold or whatever bullshit from employee orientation that they cry about because he didn't suffer enough to make it? I love that bit.
