TL;DR - The devs are claiming that there's meanieheads that are being unconstructively critical, and this justifies a tempban on the first strike, and physical removal for a 2nd offense. The stated definition of "toxicity" is a big fat subjective fuckall, so I'm looking forward to some sperg getting banned for being a sperg, and not because they're legitimately trolling or "being toxic."

This is invariably the kind of shit seen at lolcow-filled studios like Riot, BioWare in recent times, and similar, and there's always hilarious tardcum that ends up being found, as a result. It's worth noting that Paradox is involved in the upcoming VtM: Bloodlines 2, which is based on the revamped iterations of the rules, which included lunacy like "Fascism in play" and "Character and Player Identity". That is grounds for optimism about the possibility of lols, right off the hop.

Lets not forget that Old World had Changing Breeds, probably one of the worst splat books in terms of lore and function. Anyways both were a mess and regardless this move by Paradox isn't the best one. Though I will say it is always White Wolf type products that attract the worst Dangerhairs and Edgelords.

I'm sadly familiar with kink community types, SCA types, and IRL LARP-gamers; the amount of cross-pollination amongst those 3 groups, the high incidence of social-justice fuckery, and the amount of "not-really-a-secret-sexual-misconduct-cheating-and-other-bullshit" that goes on in all three (and reaches across all three from certain groups/cliques) is absolutely fucking horrifying.

That post about "toxicity" is from January of 2018, so you're kinda behind the ball on that one. And judging by the comments in this thread saying that the Paradox forums are still shit, it doesn't seem like that new policy has changed much (or maybe it only applied to the Stellaris subforum where it was posted in).

And I only joined their forums more recently, and only came across the post even more recently. I didn't recall seeing it mentioned anywhere, but I did remember that Paradox had been involved in dangerhair appeasement with V:tM - BL2, and felt it was exceptional enough to post about. Clearly, I was correct, regardless of their forum post being between 6-18 months old.

The way you describe the lore makes me finally want to pick up the first game and also ask my DM if he ever wants to play the original campaigns in the group, but the way these fuckwits talk about them makes me want to abandon the hobby altogether.

Also spending magic without using blood is OP as fuck and is just making them special snowflakes. In the original, Camirlla clans that joined the Sabbat were called Antribu. Tremere can trace their lineages. What happened to the Tremere Antribu that joined the Sabbat? They were doing a blood ritual and the fucking entire Tremere clan magicked and blew them all the fuck up. They do not exist in the Sabbat or anarchs.

The biggest shocker is that the HOI4 MLP mod is actually good from an objective standpoint of the average popular HOI4 mod; they put in a shit ton of work to make their autistic pony WWII simulator as detailed as possible and they could have really used their talent for good instead of making a pony mod. That makes it even more laughable to me.

All of the character examples posted here would have been utterly crushed by the Camarilla. A local rabble-rouser could get away with it, of course there are vampires who buck the system. But these are making international spectacles of themselves, and there's absolutely no way it would escape the notice of or be tolerated by the really ancient vampires.
