Stellaris was one of the best 4X games ever made. No other game has as many customization options and strategies.

Is is still great? Dunno, they completely changed the game like 5 times since I last played.
No other game has had as many customization options and strategies that are meaningless either.

I like Stellaris too but the totally procedural nature of it is more of a hinderance at this point than not. Paradox charging through the nose for facelifts to core mechanics every year is also telling.

It isn't that it is or isn't great, sadly. Its actually broken at the moment. The last update redid a ton of systems, and the update broke...everything. The new economy simply doesn't work, pops don't promote properly, crashes are everywhere... The running meme is that the update is literally at hot fix 22 at this point, with more to come.

Are you naturally a pessimistic faggot, or is it an affectation driven by contrarianism?
Neither, I merely have the ubermensch memory of a very chunky goldfish.
Leviathan (:story:)? The HoI3 launch that was so bad Johan openly mused about fucking killing himself? The good old days of the pre-HoD version of Vic2 CTD'ing if you didn't restart the game however many times it took, manually deleting the map cache and hoping it actually generated properly?
The only "good" launches they have ever had has been CK2, why on earth "people" continue to give them money is simply beyond me, always some fresh cope; "new team" "that was years ago" "them outsourcing all the work to brown interns in Barcelona though!".
I have been playing p*radox games for over a decade yet haven't felt the need to but one in almost as long, they never learn, but it just works for them because neither do their niggercattle customers.

Off to the retirement home, you're clearly riddled with dementia.

Good news about the recommended specs, according to Laith, the youtuber the flew out for the EU5 reveal those recommendations are actually for 4k Ultra settings, he also revealed that the content creators have access to EU5 builds so they can provide feedback, that the game has changed much since the previews that they made, and that they will probably get to show off the game in its entirety before release.

HEAR ME! The skeleton that we're gonna get on release will become a Frankenstein of expansion pack flesh, all content worth anything is DOOMED to a fate of DLCitis induced feature bloat, 4 on release? LOL, LMAO even!
I know you're all creaming your pants over crap like playable banks but this is all a forewarning of what it is to come; complete and total MOBAification, E$V will p*radox's first true gacha and you're all getting your chi drained by it.
I'm also probably younger than most of you I just had an early start m'kay

You are a dumb gorilla nigger and can't read shit.
It being announced before the game is even released is "Fable 3 DLC literally on the disc" tier IMO, don't try telling me you honestly believe it's not gonna be ready to shop and it's actual True and Honest post release effort going into anything?

Johan states that the DLCs that have been announced haven't been made yet, so not cut content being resold.
Johan on DLCs.webp

Announcing you intend on making and releasing a flavor pack related to a specific region in half a year minimum is a wide difference from having it already done and not giving it over.

I think we should be shitting on VtM:B2 instead, because there is no chance in hell that 3x delayed and restarted piece of shit is going to be any good.

Cities Skylines 2 still doesn't have the asset editor ready after almost 2 years, and the pre-order bonus DLC has yet to be released. Just a reminder.

They overhaul how planets work every other year, just make the megacorp & espionage dlcs free and overhaul them in a way that actually makes them different for worthwhile to use respectively.

My tradition of only buying the game after they release a proper ERE mechanic will continue for V.

Why yes, my first EUV run will also be Byzantium, how can you tell?
