Simple thread really, choose if you’d rather be the working parent or the stay at home one. Got the poll if you don’t wanna discuss it.

You can be both a stay-at-home and working parent. Flexibility may vary depending on who you're working for, but it can be (should be) doable especially for mothers. I'd prefer to be a stay-at-home mom, but I'd like to be able to work from home when possible.

the optimal arrangement consists of both parents living and working at home, preferably on some kind of farm or homestead. that's the dream.

Never really thought about it to be honest, someone quick bear my spawn so I can be forced to choose.

To be honest I’d rather be a working man because work is definitely in my bloodstream. I can’t stop doing a job now and if I got kids that’ll make me more dedicated to work. Of course I ain’t a complete workaholic, if I got a lovely wife that can provide more I can swallow my pride to be more involved with my kids. In general it would be great to work at home but with all I do I don’t see that as a possibility for me. I also am gonna produce as many kids as possible so you’re gonna see a lot of new fags in an 18 year time span.

I will eventually be going into a line of work that might make it almost impossible to be at home when I would like, so having children isn't an option in the near future. But I wouldn't mind putting that off the table if I could either find a partner who is willing to work full-time so I could take care of kids or would be open to letting me be the "breadwinner" so to speak.

I'd want to stay at home the first few years, but then I'd like to take the working role.

Of course, it's all fantasy. I've got a genetic disease, so there's no way in hell I'm making any mini-Jimmies. I'm very mildly disabled, but there's no telling how badly it would hit my kid.

I'd kill myself if I became pregnant. My career playing with stuff that comes out of people to figure out what's wrong with me brings me joy.
