I think the goal of this was to make the wheel squeakier, not to give it the grease.
In that the wheel is self-important politispergs taking the internet too seriously, and the squeaking is their butthurt over internet stickers.

I hate it because I love watching people get into idiotic fights over internet stickers, but I'm intensely curious to see how this affects the board since people have to voice their displeasure in ways that don't involve hucking small pixels at someone else. This had better not spoil the 'tard fights or this sub-forum is going to get incredibly uninteresting.

Someone should tell them that you can set your account to not message you every time someone reacts to a comment. I have mine set on that, short of someone replying, they can neg-rate away, I would not know.

Basically the main ones that were spammed were "Dumb" and "MOTI", everything else fit fine. Some articles really were worthy of the lunacy or islamic content or horrifying rating because they were fucking out there. Also, check out the disagree text change - "Respectfully disagree, but I still love you". This is some top tier trolling on Null's part.

Still want to know who were the ones crying about stickers so I can let em know that they should probably neck themselves if they care so much about internet ratings.

My bet is that without being able to negrate, the people complaining about them until they were removed, start getting put on ignore (or regular old ignored instead) until they bitch about that too. It'll be funny to see if that gets removed due to crying manchildren too.

Instead of autistic/dumb it's going to be disagree/dislike. Nothing will really change. Not that it needed to, because anyone who still has sticker notifications on deserves whatever they get.

That's the real change that should be made. Sticker notifications off by default.
