I had covid and literally felt no different for the entire two weeks I had to stay at home. Like, if the test didn't say I'd had covid, I'd have had zero fucking idea I even had it. The last time I had the flu was way the fuck worse, I actually noticed that shit. I suppose it was pretty cool though, I got to stay home and watch trash television and play videogames while eating takeout and I got paid the whole time, I kinda wish I could catch it again to be honest.

Final edit: having covid and being quarantined for two weeks was the closest I've ever experienced to having my very own tugboat, and it wasn't as nightmarish an existence as I'd imagined being a worthless useless SSDI recipient would be. I would definitely never want to live like that forever, but it was a nice little vacation and excursion into a life I'd never want to have full time. And I still got to use my actual vacation time for the year (I went on a fishing trip one week and a concert the other week).
