Pathfinder: Kingmaker - From Tabletop to Desktop

No new PF games will make me sad but I guess it's better than them adapting one of the bad adventure paths. What other big TRPG system can they use at this point? I guess they'll probably do more Warhammer. They could probably do a Warhammer Fantasy game since it's pretty under-represented (Total War notwithstanding).

-Potential Kingmaker/WOTR remaster to 2E ruleset in the future (Not confirmed, they aren’t sure whether to do it yet and even if they did that wouldn’t be a thing for atleast 3 years)

plus didnt they lost rights to kingmaker since they made it under paradox int or some shit?

hey, another reason to play the game again. not me though, still need to cool down form my last play section.

Think im going Legend/demon next time.
i wanted to make 20 fighter/10 swordlord/10 duelist legend run for a long time.
gold dragon however sounds a bit boring? i remember i was trying to do azata -> gold dragon, to see if they thought of any interactions with Aivu
was disappointed

I was thinking of doing a two handed 20 mutant warrior cleave build with either 20 mad dog or 20 Demonslayer.

Regil was fun little hobbit sauron. Definately my favourite, even if my character had a very similar build. The dwarf assassin was fine too.

A big thing I found lacking was the strategy minigames. The crusade army and kibgmaker town manager just didn't really feel anything more than a chore.

RT's planet upgrades is by far the least annoying. Plus you have a lot of loyalist imperial characters which means less woke/gay stuff.

>goblina ass multiclasses
>not doing a gigachad 20/20 monk and slayer

it's like you fags don't want to dispel all an enemy's buffs with your ridiculously powerful fists, complete with pounce and trip

I don't see a single fighter level in this there fore its gay
i bet you don't even play a straight white male character with a default portrait

In kingmaker it was pretty fun actually

With the start of the new year, I've begun my "ultimate" playthrough of the game. I'm aiming for full role-playing, so I've chosen to play as a druid, seeing as nature-themed classes are obviously the best fit for this particular storyline.

One thing I've noticed so far is the inconsistencies when it comes to the Stag Lord's timeline. The "Riverside Nightmare" quest states that the bridge engineer was killed by the Stag Lord many years before the start of the game, while Oleg Leveton, on the other hand, claims that the bandit chief had only shown up about a year ago.

I've also grown to appreciate the nuance in the voice acting more, like the bitter undertones in Nyrissa's voice when she discusses how monsters are created by regular people being victimized. At face value, she's talking about the Stag Lord's violent childhood, but with hindsight it's obvious she's also referring to herself.

I beat Kingmaker like a year ago for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. Real time with pause is basically a prerequisite for me to play a CRPG. As a fan of city builders and strategy games I actually quite liked the kingdom building mechanics. I also found the game to not be too fagged up, most of the companions were pretty likeable and the writing was usually good enough.

I'm just now starting up Wrath of the Righteous and literally a tranny and a black KWEEN right out the gate lol, how bad does it get? What am I in for?

Depends what mythic path you will take. The black queen can be killed in act 3 if you do a side quest with her and the tranny will stop being impotent after act 2. If you cant still handle that, there is a mod that reverses thing (turns the tranny into a man, the black women into a white women etc)

I think that's about the worst of it. There's some minor gay stuff latter on but it's all done by demons and it kind of makes sense that demons would do that. There's a zesty negro companion as well but unless you press him on it it's not going to ever come up. In fact I don't even think the tranny stuff comes up unless you pass a skill check and do a side quest right? I remember not even knowing that was a troon until after I beat the game and was looking stuff up about the game.

The tranny was from the original module, not an addition by owlcat. He also mostly disappears from the story after the prologue. If you bully his wife enough when talking to her (like calling her a moron for selling a family heirloom to pay for her husbands 'transition'), she'll fucking die later.

Modern CRPGs be like:
>Righteous mighty paladin character
>Buff muscle-mommy lesbian

lesbian1.webp
Every
lesbian2.webp
Time

Lmao WotR has two already in the prologue, one black one an orc

Very on the nose. Also lol at the zealous holy-warrior of the crusading Goddess of valor, justice, and honor marrying a troon. Seems like that would be more of a demonic thing.

Both Seelah and the Orc are Paizo OCs that Owlcat didn't create. I wish they would've just cut them completely as they're the worst written part of the game. Seelah is a boring character who only highlight in the game is whenever she gets into banter with Ember. I don't remember her doing a single memorable thing.

I hate Ember far more than Seelah, for being an annoying Reddit atheist and being literally wrong about the Gods not intervening in mortal life. I always like to kill her outright by allowing her to be killed by the crusaders or later on if in an evil playthrough
