Holy crap, know this is a dated thread but imagine my surprise when listening to video about the toxicity in western animation and thinking "hey, i remember a dude from when i was an edgy 20 year old who said they were an animator.... wonder what ever happened to them....."

then doing a google search and finding out someone i knew in the wild turned into a kiwifarm thread.

Sorry about sperg-esque rambling in first post, the thread caught me off guard.

So, I am going home in next week or so. Will dig up vhs I was given of something they did or worked on or... I don't know? I think it's the "Pirate Scum" thing mentioned on their IMDB.

However, yeah, before being in Bay Area they lived in western NY- Buffalo area. Moved specifically out to develop their animation career. Or at least that is what was said as reason.

Many of the people on there are legitimate Nazbols and lolcows, but then Dogpatch goes full scorched earth and lashes out at randos that follow them.

Like fuck, Esoteric East Orthodox far-right furries...that's good for a laugh and an expose right there but then he calls out anyone even remotely adjacent to them.

Reagan Lodge being here and Crassus being mentioned at one point made me raise a few eyebrows.

Also they’re blocking accounts associated with anyone who follow any of the people mentioned in the article.

There are people who risked a lot to ID people like Woof and SnakeThing. None of them are being contacted. Instead we’re getting the furry equivalent of a Netflix true crime doc where the murderer narrates the story with sad piano music and an apology arc.

This doc is shaping up to be a self serving PR stunt that pretends to tackle a serious issue but only ends up laundering reputations. It’s being made about the community by people who weren’t in the trenches and it’s going to be worthless. Especially since half of the budget was spent on Dogpatch and Grizzly Fatalis attempting to farm aura points.

I don’t normally post here. I lurk. I read. Because most of the time, I don’t have anything worth adding. But I was watching in 2018. And I do remember what people here did. They named names when no one else did. And they did it without clout-chasing, without donation buttons, and without pretending it was “complicated.” Now those same people are being written out of their own history. No credit. Like the leaks just fell out of the sky and were gracefully interpreted by everyone.
