He did have a platform and to Twitter addicts he was "our guy". He'd run news articles and bump to the front of Twitter the latest furry drama, along with a lot of his allies. He was pals with some influential people as well, for example he said he had friends in Twitter and he retweeted posts from Xydexx (an Anthrocon board member). Now his patreon is crumbling and his former supporters are calling him out.

For the most part it's a rehash of last night's events and what's already known (i.e. Patch loves to play association games and accuse people of being alt-right neo-Nazi fascists at the drop of a hat). The juiciest bit is when IndigoBang gets into the business relationship OwO had with DPP. For someone who loved to rub elbows with commies, Patch didn't exactly practice what he preached.
If that wasn’t enough to really understand the man though, allow me to make some final revelations as an ex-employee that you may not be aware of.

1. Patch lives in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
2. In California the minimum wage for 1 hour of work is 11 dollars an hour.
3. I was offered syndication with Dogpatch Press at 10 dollars per article or 5 dollars per article if I shared it both on DPP and OwO.
4. Your average in depth article and interview can take several hours to gather the research / obtain a completed interview.
5. I accepted this shitty deal because I’m desperate to move to a different state as my mental and physical health is declining where I live.
6. I am 28 years old. I am not a child to be paid under the table your scraps.

The more I see from this "Indigobang" person the more I start to feel like he's equally as much of a cock as Dogpatch. Apparently Dogpatch was paying this guy? As far as I know previous contributors who were billed as "syndicated" were not compensated at all for their involvement with the website. For some reason Indigobang was getting, comparatively speaking, a "silver glove treatment".

And of course Dogpatch nuked the article Indigobang posted as he stormed out of his ten dollar per article writing gig. That's hilariously pathetic. :lol: "I accepted this shitty deal because I'm desperate to move to a different state as my mental/physical health is declining where I live." Yeah dude, you're really going to be able to afford to move out making ten bucks a whack on the Dogpatch Press Cub Porn Apologia Jamboree website.

What a shitty and manipulative piece of writing.

There's an entire page's worth of circular logic and sleight of hand in there, even an apparent 10 point likert scale for rating the severity of CP, when all this dumb motherfucker has to do is say "I made a mistake running an article that expressed a controversial viewpoint. This viewpoint does not reflect my own opinions nor the ones that this website stands for. I have [taken the article down / added a foreword to better frame it and remove it from our usual content]."

theres some bonus secondary amusement in the comments people made on that nuclear-hot-take editorial he posted

-a lot of people seemed to think that dogpatch had written it himself
-almost no one made an indication that they had actually read the article

which kind of confirms to me that no one actually reads any of patch's articles, they just read the headlines. of course I think people are right to tell him off for that article, but it amuses me that they told him off without reading it

On one hand, the side of me that is heavily invested in the First Amendment and how important protecting even nasty stuff like cub porn, is not thrilled about this, and worries that the noose may be tightening for people with less problematic kinks.

On the other, Dogpatch kind of brought this on himself for being the exact type of person tightening that noose.

Guess he's going to have to get sent back to the re-education camp.

The only sad part is that all of the actual hard work done by people to expose things like child groomers and animal rapists through his news blog is going to be marred by this stupid mistake. Already seeing it used as a stepping stone to hop back into the community with minimal pushback.

The Growly connection was a bit of a dead-end. It has been brought up here and elsewhere many times but other than that articl, we haven't been able to dig up anything more substantial. That is the only photograph of the two together that I have found, which isn't really damning evidence itself as many furries pose for photos together at conventions or meets and this particular one seems to predate the Growly problem.

Now that his reputation is on shaky ground we may finally get more on it if there is anything to have, but the photo itself is very old news.
