Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

Rick can bluster all he wants but I suspect when it comes down to it, he or someone responsible for him will pay. Then he will claim that he won. This is the kind of guy who would back down and cry in middleschool instead of getting in a fight but then claim he had fought and won.
yeah you can't bury your head in the sand to hide from debtors. if he really believed his own BS he may still be processing the shock receiving an indisputable courtroom ass kicking, but he can't deny reality forever.
Pat ignored the trolls on twitter for most of the day. I'm guessing he's currently trying to drown his sorrows and decided to go back to war again. By the way, that hearing today never happened according to drunk Pat.

Knowing how stupid Rick he would probably sue to get his stuff back once it's been collected and sold which is something you're not allowed to do.

He was up until 4AM last night, bickering with the stalkers.
That's a lot of alcohol to consume.

Not going to expose myself to potential brain damage by downloading and reading this shit but I would love to see one or two reviewed by Krimson Rogue. He did a good job reviewing Onision's "novels".
I had the same thought as well. The only difference is that instead of Onision's books, what came to my mind was the Empress Theresa series of videos he made. Probably because Norman Boutin, similarly to Fatrick, is absolutely incapable of taking any kind of criticism and would get into autistic arguments with everyone that posted a negative review.

You wouldn't be wrong. Because that's exactly what Fat has done in the past. Plenty of people who have bought his books have left bad reviews. And he went full retard on them.

It's true, stalkers. He doesn't live in a glass house. And soon he won't have a house. For he will be homeless, stalkers. Will you all never learn? Everything he says is gay, stalkers. Shhhh, stalkers.

So Patrick has already vowed never to pay but now that IT IS SO ORDERED what happens next I wonder? Quasi could turn the screws and pursue it in Wisconsin court, but he would just rack up more costs for himself. He could also just let it go knowing that the ruling was a massive narc wound to Patrick's ego. But his lawyer will still want that $23,739.25 right down to that fucking quarter, so that doesn't seem likely. And least likely of all, but you never know, is that Fatrick and the SFWA actually pay up.

Others have speculated that Patty is going to refile for next year but just skip going after Quasi and go right for the John Does. He really thought Quasi was like fucking Dracula and knew who all the other vampires were.
I doubt SFWA will fund a second case after this one failed horribly. They're already begging for donations so they emptied the pot on this one.

Dear Patrick,

Go watch the biography of Chris Chan by Geno Samuels if you want to see how all this plays out. This is how your life will turn out if you keep up with this. The only winning move is NOT to play, but you will keep on a keeping on for that next dopamine hit. I look forward to seeing your mugshot or you in court over failure to pay legal fees.

Hugs and Kisses,

The Internet

Patrick paid $125k and didn't get a single name. How much is it going to cost him if he goes after 59 separate, completely anonymous individuals? This fool doesn't even have a job.

Yep, this is the core problem, no gas left in the tank. I think best case for Fatrick is SWFA writes off his debt to them and then for some reason Quasi declines to pursue him for the fees he owes, even in this situation there's no way Patrick could afford to continue his lolsuits. But I think it's almost guaranteed that Quasi will seek enforcement for the judgement, domesticate in Wisconsin and seek some sort of lien or other remedy. Fat won't have enough money to continue fighting it so the smartest option for him would be to eat humble pie and set up a payment plan. It's almost guaranteed that he will refuse to do this though.

Quasi's best chance at getting the money Pat owes him is if the SWFA forgives the loan. If they come after him for over $100,000 a bankruptcy filing seems likely. Less likely he files for bankruptcy to avoid a $24,000 debt.

There can be in US Federal Court. Not sure about California or Wisconsin specifically.
Both have interest rates on civil judgments

Debt collector?
A judgment is just another debt, so it could be sold to a collection agency. And because Rick actually has assets that can be seized to repay the debt the judgment is actually worth more than pennies on the dollar.

The burden of paying Quasi's fees is completely on Fat. The SFWA won't pay a dime.

The SFWA is an old organization, and they've been feeding into that legal fund for years. Because of the way it's set up, the only way the fund would go down is if deadbeat authors (ahem) don't pay back the loans and interest. I don't think a mere $100K is likely to impoverish them.

However, after seeing the way Fatrick and his legal eagle comported themselves, I doubt they'll throw good money after bad unless they really believe in his cause. I'm surprised they funded a "sue the internet" lolsuit to begin with, but they are mostly a bunch of boomers who live in their imaginations, so I guess it isn't all that shocking.

Another quiet day for Pat on twitter. Instead of breaking GamerGate 2.0 and becoming world famous, he gets to have dumb gimmick accounts retweet his lazy trolley problem ripoff.

If he does file another lawsuit, there are a few new John Does for the list

Jesus fuck. Upworthy is such a shit site. The fact that they're reporting that old and debunked thread should honestly tell their followers how fucking dumb they are. But, then again. The people who like Upworthy also like TYT so, ya know, they're retarded.

Depends on how much they put into it and if they have a maximum of what you can borrow from it. The old Comics Code Authority funds were never that much and were limited on how much you could use from it. Both organizations are set up very similarly. With only 1300 members you're not going to bring in a lot of money every year and still hope to pay off everything. That's why they beg for money for the legal funds separately.

And Fatprick is just the kind of person who thinks getting quoted by a clickbait mill more ignorable than Kotaku or Buzzfeed is an accomplishment.
