If you're referring to trans men's vaginas I still do not love it because I respect the trans community and their identity, and am not gay, child. His BEST book is forgettable schlock with nothing really that stands out for itself yet nothing so offensive you can dog him for. Bog standard murder mystery IN SPACE bullshit with a main character who is basically an average retired football dude turned detective.

The majority of his work is full of woke shit like alien Donald Trump (Fronald Frump) and third gendered aliens (xer) and jokes about alien big macs being made of alien excretions. Yay lol funny lol ingenious!

Oh, well if this thread takes side-quests into author gossip, I have to preface this with saying Mieville’s adult books are terrific and he’s one of my favourites.

AFAIK his latest excursion into cancellation was due to a romantic relationship gone toxic - he’s a big name in the UK Marxist/Socialist movement, which tends to attract some idealistic people who aren’t really familiar with the real world. So unfortunately he was a man with big appetites but a bit socially roughshod when it came to romantic partners… and it was a miserable relationship that ended badly.

Some people might find that a bit of a thing. There were certainly moves to cancel him as being a domestic abuser (TM) but it came across as more of a besotted fan girl not knowing where to draw the line on a very well connected and famous boyfriend. It’s been mostly wiped from the Internet, which is interesting as it might have been a career killer for other authors.
