It's like that landlord who said the previous tenant had vandalized the house before leaving. In the video the alleged tenanant had "removed some sash windows" and "spray- painted the walls" and "thrown rubbish around". All of it easily fixed.
A real tenant vandalism is kicking holes in the drywall and ripping out the electrical wire - a simple and elegant way to destroy a house. Expensive to fix. Also shit smeared in places that shit is not supposed to go.

Every wall with plumbing has a pipe that extends up, usually to the roof, this allows air to enter the drain system preventing vapor lock.
If one found a pipe like this and drilled a hole through the wall into the pipe, one could then spray expanding foam into this pipe and leave a very hard to find clog.

Someone mentioned in a tweet Pat gave his books all five star reviews but only rated Gaiman’s American Gods four stars despite being a personal hero of his. Gaiman liked the tweet probably because Pat is an annoying fan boy

If I truly hated someone enough and I had access to them like this AND I was willing to risk being arrested for whatever I did I would almost certainly commit far more damage in much easier terms.
