I’ve only ever seen these stoves in sharehouses I’ve lived at in my youth where the houses were over 40-50 years old. Anyone who can afford it has since renovated their kitchen to include an inbuilt stovetop and oven.

Off topic but r/castiron is one of the more frustrating subreddits along with other special interest subs because its actually really good and a lot of very valuable information and posters would be lost if (when!) reddit is cast into the fiery pit from which it was forged.
