If someone identifiably of the Ona board had bragged about swatting Patrick, it would have been blasted all over KF. The only person who’s taken responsibility is torswats, one of whose operators is in prison. (He also said Patrick paid him for self-swats but I guess we’ll leave that out for now.) It also may have triggered an LEO response targeting them. That’s never happened either.

Obviously the records are sealed as it was a family court matter, but a posited theory is that he actively pushed for the termination of rights and must have been very determined about it.
The basis of the theory is that serial losers with histories of drug addiction and frequent enjoyable trips to prison have asked to sever parental rights to be let off the hook for child support, but judges nearly always refuse.
As far as I understand it’s not simply just about them trying to weasel out of existing unpaid support and all future, but to do with ongoing responsibility and if the other parent dies so that the child isn’t automatically placed as ward of the state.
In Fatrick’s case too, PCJ did state that him and Adrienne attempted to arrange a visitation situation even after the severing of rights, but Fatrick outright refused.
My personal theory, based on this and knowing Fatrick’s obstinate nature, he probably thought he could use the withholding of child support as a weapon to introduce control and influence into PCJ and Adrienne’s household.
Adrienne, then free of his piggy rage, likely held her ground but told him that he shouldn’t push this as he would regret not having a relationship with the girl.
