And anyone who has taken the time to understand self-defense law is that, should you be involved in a lethal confrontation, online tough guy talk can and will be used against you in court.

And yes, some of the worst offenders of this are the tryhard tactitards/sheepdawgs/NRA boomers who repeat retarded platitudes like "I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6". Prosecutors are NOT inclined to take your side when you kill someone, even if you're obviously in the right. Plus, according to my favorite self defense guru, Varg Freeborn, about 95% of criminal charges end in a plea deal. So that means you only have a 5% chance of even getting a trial.

Alas, Fatrick couldn't figure this out if it were tattooed to the insides of his eyelids. Most authors would have moments of self-doubt. They do engage with their fans (if they have any) or just ask people for their opinions. But not Pat. In his mind, he is always right, he never does anything wrong, his books are always good. Even though they don't sell really well, he can't land new contracts because of poor results, and snippets available on Amazon read like a trashy young teen novels. His mother is a psychologist, and it is widely believed that that is not a coincidence. She most likely raised Patrick psychologically with some kind of fad "positive reinforcement" upbringing in which she raised him to believe that he is always right, that his decisions are always the best decisions, and most importantly that his mind controls reality - and that he can alter reality through the power of belief. This would explain why he never admits fault, and never admits when he is wrong even when proof of his wrongness is right in front of his face and on full display for everyone to see. He genuinely believes that whenever he is shown to be wrong about something, through enough denial and belief that he is actually in the right, reality will bend to his thinking.
