Piggy states that he cannoT be in contempT of courT because the original court order is "illegitimate".
When asked what he expects will happen at the hearing - "We expect that we are going to tell our side of the story, which is the only side of the story, by the way".

The dummy really is going to get himself thrown in a cell over this.

I'm not gonna gloat that I called I until we see a transcript or recording. But I am going to quote myself here.
I'm going to lock in my predictions for the court hearing. He's going to try to argue to the judge about how the ruling was improper, and essentially try to use 8/24 as a do-over for the lolsuit he already lost.

Naturally the judge isn't going to have any of that shit.

He's not going to be in a cell either because the arrest will be illegitimate. Because he's in charge and decides what's legitimate. He'll be physically surrounded by the jail, sure, but not for realsies. Because reality isn't ever "real" until this narcissist grants the universe permission for that particular wavefunction to collapse in that way.

We probably aren't even posting on this thread (which can't exist) because the Rascals were wrong about Norm being funny, rendering the subsequent events illegitimate.

Either Pat himself or Justin?

Got it in one!

Pat basically couldn't stop butting into conversations around the writers symposium - my own instance, an editor from Baen was showing me pictures of his new kid before Patty butted in - whining about how he will go to prison, that people have SWATTED his parents, he won't pay, can't pay even if he wanted to, he's gonna make the national media and rally SFWA...

Entire conversation hijacked, mood deflated. You could literally watch the joy drain from the new father's face as he desperately looked for the exit, any excuse to leave.

I meanwhile, put on my best sympathetic face and asked Pat to tell me more.

Easy to see why he's in such deep shit. He can't help but over engage and overshare. Has to be the center of attention.

He seems to be utterly convinced national media or SFWA will make him into a martyr, or ride to his rescue.

Also, obligatory, yes, he's fat in the way all those Midwestern alcoholics tend to be.

So... questions?

What does he smell like? Please be as specific as you need.

That's utterly moronic. Full faith and credit requires the court where the judgment is domesticated to enforce it.

Also if you are in contempt of a court order you can still be prosecuted for it even if it is later vacated. He had his time to appeal and sat on his fat stupid ass like a moron.

You don't get a do-over in another court when you failed to appeal properly in the first place (which he would have nearly automatically lost anyway). The Wisconsin court is obligated under the Constitution to consider the California judgment valid.

The list of things you can collaterally attack in another court to avoid paying a judgment is short, and "I'm too fat and stupid to understand that I lost" isn't one of them.

You know that, and I know that. But does the Pepperoni Baron of Milwaukee?

There’s just so much to unpack from this most recent display of idiocy and mental defect, but what stood out to me is the way he claims the attorneys didn’t inform him of his right to appeal [but I thought “appeals cost money”? Isn’t that what he told “Josiah Munioz”?] or that he could potentially wind up on the hook for attorneys fees.

[I question how much of a right he had to appeal a ruling that he abused process by committing a grave discovery violation, but never mind that now.]

As much as Resto seems like an idiot and an ambulance chaser, and as much as Rodney Mawr was a dumber, fatter fuck than Pig Sandwich, I seriously doubt either of them went into the case with the idea of floating a novel legal strategy that stood nearly no chance of success without first informing their client of the potential pitfalls.

Yet again, he’s attempting to shift blame to anyone and everyone but himself for his own buffoonery.

"We expect that we are going to tell our side of the story, which is the only side of the story, by the way".
Looks like he learned the concept of "bothsidesism" from his journo buddies.

AKA "I'm too retarded and arrogant to ever consider the idea that I could be wrong".

And no, you stupid fat faggot with bitchtits, you don't get to tell the court jackshit. You had multiple chances to make this go away, but you've heaped all these woes upon yourself, because you think "don't let the idiots win" means "be pig-headed and prideful".

Is he really as short as the process server said in her report?
