Tumblr | Archive

For those unfamiliar with Tumblr (god bless), searching via the archive can help in finding interesting stuff. Great thread so far.

This guy is clearly no Chris Chan. He seems to have his own unique form of crazy.
I'm a sucker for weird unique internet shit, and my dude has real artistic and musical talent. He's like an autistic Niel Cicierega. Comparing his previous videos to now, it really looks like he declined, which is honestly a loss, but I'm glad he's still trucking along and making stuff. Godspeed.

Electrocution is barbaric, poor autist was tortured in the name of "mental health care", it's just pseudoscience like lobotomy. On the other hand, there is an execution method where they shock the brain to kill prisoners, this cannot be a "therapy". Goddammit, I'm MOTI. Feels bad to read, poor guy.
I really feel that.
Here, let Patty cheer you up.

This guy is awesome. He's like a breath of fresh air after all the fucking rage inducing irredeemable shits I've seen recently.
He's eccentric as fuck but he has genuine talent with his music. This is a guy I have no problem with my tax dollars supporting. I don't even care that he's a troon. He's obviously not able to look after himself but I glad he has some degree of independence with a live in wrangler.
I think the woman washing her car that threatened to call the cops on him is an asshole tbh.
I'd buy Patty a chocolate milk any day.
He's great.

Caught wind of Patty yesterday on Jim's Odysee stream. The videos were hilarious, but unlike the insufferable troons like Lucas and Elliott; Patty comes off as weird, but fairly creative and talented. The chocolate milk song was actually pretty good all things considered. Hoping weens don't fuck with them and just let Patty be Patty.

Electro shock therapy doesn't actually hurt that much except maybe the skin around the area the electrodes were placed but that comes afterwards. The brain itself feels no pain. Also you're placed under general anesthesia which means you're actually going to be asleep when it happens. Some instances of headache, nausea and sore muscles are about as painful as it gets.
The worst part of it is its randomness, according to people I've known who had it. It did actually reset their brain out of major depression that was going to kill them, but it also deleted memories nearly at random, from all parts of their life to the point they didn't even remember major events, and also had a lot of trouble forming new memories for years later.

If you get ECT, especially multiple sessions, the aftereffects can be anything from maybe forgetting a couple minor things or a little brain fog to being absolutely fucked up and missing large chunks of your life.

That said it's still used but literally only in situations where the patient is otherwise hopeless.

I'm not saying I'd rather die than get it, but if I were presented with that choice I'm actually not sure what decision I'd make. It would take some serious thought.
