Maybe he was bullied as a kid by snowboarders or skiers. Or perhaps he was constantly thrown snowballs at by some other bullies, so he's compensating or coping now.

There were lots of people who took Soyjack memes too seriously and basically took it to mean any enthusiasm or glee about something silly is bad. That was when the meme jumped the shark.
