On a more off topic note, Jay I'm interested in getting your thoughts about skeletons and their representation in the media today.

I want to cross the oceans for her! I would sacrifice all but my immortal soul just for a chance to be in her arms! All the comforts of my current luxurious home would be gone in a heartbeat if we could just stay together.

That's sweet and all but I *will* cross an ocean for her if she so desires.

Also I'm very concerned about your undiagnosed autism. Seriously. I mean this.

That is not a trend I have been following. All I know is, it is nearing Halloween, so more skeletons popping up are appropriate decoration.

Christmas in October.

Make that Christmas PARTY in October! :P Yeah, have a good laugh!

That's all very nice and flowery Jay, but in my personal experience, my former partner throwing away a decent job, coming out to live here in a heartbeat despite not having met me before, and then us having to resign ourselves to failure in the face of his unemployment in this area; well, that didn't exactly turn out like a romantic movie.

I've lived that "I'd do anything for her and throw my whole life away here" story is what I'm saying, and I'm saying it rarely turns out well.

Dear Jay:

Thank you for replying to my previous post! : )

And I see... You're more into the sado than the masochism. I understand! Still, I hope you learned that it's better to find people that are into that, and not force it on people. : (

I dunno what clubs would be in your area, but they might be good places to make friends that share your kinks!

Thanks for the heads-up. Short-term, I'd be planning a couple unpaid-leave days, as I'm granted half of next week off. It's a super block and chance to travel. Long-term, just give me a couple years on my resume, and I'll have whatever job I please!

Well, of course I don't want to force it onto others! I also feel like it's human if I'm disappointed to learn of an incompatibility with any given potential candidate, though.

That's the thing. There are groups that feel skeletons are unfairly represented in the media and popular culture. Why should skeletons only show up around halloween and as video game villains? Why not a skeleton protagonist?

But do you think they are unfairly represented as "spooky" and "scary" and are possibly being disrespected by the modern media?

That's really not enough time to fly overseas and visit someone.

@The Golden Knight What do you think of our new wiki that we dedicated to you?

Unnecessary. I already have an "official wiki" now.

But do you think they are unfairly represented as "spooky" and "scary" and are possibly being disrespected by the modern media?

I didn't know skeletons had feelings. I thought they were dead, or possessed by evil spirits. Was I wrong?! Then again, a Skeleton protagonist DOES sound cool! Think Ghost Rider...

That's really not enough time to fly overseas and visit someone.

2 days; one for each way of the trip, and another 2-3 days to enjoy each other...For an expedite, that's enough. It's certainly not enough to fully enjoy the perks of a relationship, though.

Yeah, the autism might be an issue. Jay said he wanted to wait until he was in his fifties till he has kids, and waiting that long increases the chances of a baby having autism even without a predisposition. I don't want my nephews or nieces to be tard babies.

I'm not gonna lie, I like the cut of Batman's jib. He probably has a job so he can afford to come see Amanda.

I'll say it for the third time, ICYMI and then I'm going to assume you're ignoring me even though I'm actually trying to help you:

Do you have any friends from High School that you still interact with, and if not, why do you think that is?

I don't want to make it all about money but yeah, I'm pretty well off. I'm a collector and dabble in the import/export business. My days are flexible so I could easily take a week off in the near future if need be.

I thought the best time to have kids would be mid-30s at the soonest. That shouldn't be old enough for tard babies; but I *really* want to enjoy the "Romance Phase" of my life cycle.
Jay, do you know how expensive overseas flights are?
I predict grand total of a thousand dollars.

I already answered this question. No I do not because I do not bother to engage contact with them as I tend to isolate myself...Except for talking like here.

Now where was that other forum post where people said you were an "Act"?

Again, really not enough time to justify an overseas trip. As Randall Flagg pointed out, those are very expensive.

For starters, you could shut the fuck up and listen to her.

I'm serious. Almost every conversation you have with anyone is one-sided. You're very invested in you and your interests and what you like, but you struggle to meet the emotional needs of your significant other, and that's when you bother to put in some half-hearted effort.

Your grand proclamations of love and the sacrifices you would make ring hollow. It's like you learned what love is from movies but don't have any real understanding of it, thinking it's just poetic declarations and snuggling or bumping uglies. You're big on taking and not so much on giving.

I don't believe you for a second that you would sacrifice all that when your track record speaks differently.
