Good to see you here Jay, I'm pleased you've decided to talk to us.

I've spoken to you quite a few times on your streams as VEXGOD. I'm not sure you would remember me, but I hope you remember me as being one of your more polite viewers. Whilst I am a member here and might have opinions about you that you would likely disagree with, I want to say that I genuinely enjoyed being able to chat with you and others whilst watching the streams.

I sometimes asked you quite detailed questions which you understandably at times felt uncomfortable asking. I didn't ask these questions out of maliciousness, but because I wanted to understand you better. I think you would agree you're very quirky and that many people wouldn't try to understand your behaviour, sometimes resorting to bullying rather than find common ground with you. We aren't discussing you because we want to bully you, we' discuss you because we want to understand you. Remember that understanding something doesn't mean we have to like something (for example we all understand one day we will die, but we don't exactly like that fact), so if we feel we've understood about you we don't like, we'll criticise it. You can still have compassion for the people you disagree with.

I remember in one of the streams I asked you about why you didn't like Minecraft in multiplayer, asking if the reason was because of the unpredictability of others and feeling anxious about change, which you agreed with (please correct me if I'm wrong about this). The reason why I remember this question is because it's a very common symptom of autism to feel the same way you did. I see you acknowledged you feel that a large reason for what has happened is because of misunderstandings and miscommunication, which I agree with. It's actually quite difficult for us to understand what you are trying to say when you write or draw, in some ways you almost have your own language. This is also common with people with autism; I feel as though you're frustrated you can't say what you really mean to us, yet struggle to see why we misinterpret what you say. Don't take this as an insult, but you have difficulties with understanding language and communication, which is where the majority of criticism about your art and writing comes from. To you it seems perfectly understandable, but because we can't understand your language we think you're saying something completely different.

Now I'm not in any way qualified to make this diagnosis (although part of my job is working with autistic children), but I think you would really benefit from checking to see if you do have autism. Nobody will make you conform, nobody will try to change you. If you are diagnosed, you will find people who want to understand you and work on your language skills so you can express yourself better. That way, we can understand you better. If it doesn't turn out you have autism, you can tell us and we can understand you better. However you need to be willing to make this step and accept that at times we all need help. It takes a bigger man to accept he struggles with something and ask for help than pretend he doesn't need help or gets everyone to do their job for them due to fear of failure. You've come to the forums and asked for our opinions though, so you're halfway there! Seriously keep reading through what people have said in this thread, the people here are good people and I wish I had as many people willing to give me such awesome advice

That's because, I made a mistake. I should have not said anything about you using false information on me. What I should've said, was that you were not nice, and therefore, I could not help feeling angry and offended. Like I said, it is only human to tune out everything else when the constructive message is delivered in such a way.

I remember you, Vexgod. And maybe you do have some credibility. I like a good ramble, but it is not something I can reply to immediately, particularly if I must respond with an equally thought-provoking lecture to prove I have absorbed the lessons to be found. Also, I feel like there's shame inside me if I were to so much as even bring up the proposition of looking for autism counseling.

Here we go. Because the sound is captured from my webcam perched atop my monitor, the monitor sound creates a "room tone" that sounds like a fooking jet turbine! YEOWCH! How do I fix this? I could move the webcam, possibly...

Did you actually think the one titled 'Sex, Cages and Arrows' was some sort of weird minecraft sex video? I'd be happy to show you the actual video to show it we were telling dick jokes and building a dungeon in the castle and whatnot, it's hard to tell since I didn't catch his audio. But thanks for proving you have no honor just from me asking you an honest question, you have the temper of a true hero.

Also, you can change where the input sound comes from in your windows sound preferences to make your headset the default capture device. I can PM you some instructions if you tell me your OS.

You shouldn't be ashamed for seeking help. It shows you want to understand yourself better and are willing to accept you have a disability. Self-awareness is a desirable trait which you should embrace, even if it means accepting there's things you or others find difficult or undesirable. If you recognise a problem, at least you can fix it. Think of it like your job; if you don't run Malwarebytes, how do you know if the computer has a virus that needs to be ridden of?

Basically, I've been played for a fool. This is why past attempts at even footing have been difficult. You want me to change for the better, but when you try crap like this, it does not help.
