Well it is how it works, IQ tests have multiple subscores that are averaged together for GIQ. But I got IQ scores and also memory scores, I'm not certain if they were from the same test or from multiple tests though, like I said I wasn't really aware of shit back then well enough to really be well versed in the tests I was taking.
Aspergers actually typically presents with a discrepancy between PIQ and VIQ, with VIQ often being above average and PIQ being below average, and with visual memory deficits and verbal memory strengths, though the extremity of the disparity in my case is atypical. The psychologist that diagnosed me with aspergers thought I had a developmental condition, though the neuropsychiatrist that assessed me thought I must have had a traumatic brain injury followed by some form of neuroplastic restructuring that resulted in an increase to my verbal intelligence to compensate for the insult to the part of the brain supporting visual intelligence, though I disagree with him today after having done my own research into the differentials for developmental aspergers versus the acquired form of the condition that can present as it, seeing as I stim for one, and also have restricted interests for two, both of which are differentially indicative of developmental aspergers.
