People that are supposed to be sleeping, why aren't you?

Anyone else absolutely hate the sensation of falling asleep? Sometimes I'm ok but other times I get really uncomfortable.
It's like you're drowning (:_(

The worst part is when the man rushes into your room right as you're about to drift off to sleep and violently shoves a pillow in your face until you pass out.

As a former sufferer of this condition, might I share my advise on what helped me correct my sleeping patterns

  • Spend as much of the day standing and walking as possible. Dont let yourself sit down for more than half an hour without atleast a few minutes break to get up and move around a bit. Honestly if you have not got some kind of standing desk attachment already you should get one because that shit can be lifechangingly beneficial if you spend a lot of time at the computer
  • Consider regularly partaking in some kind of strenuous excercise. It could be something cardio like jogging, or something resistance based like weight training. If nothing else is viable then slowly wean yourself into callisthenics. Either way you should be going to bed with well worked muscles for atleast half of your week as this will make sleep a hell of a lot easier
  • Concentrate caffeine in the first half of the day. Have 14:00ish be your deadline to get all the caffine you drink down your neck
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day

I don't know what sleep is lately, my usual aids aren't helping. Melatonin isn't helping, Benadryl isn't helping (probably really shit to use constantly). I put my phone down, I read books.

4-5 hours of sleep and I'm still tired. Help?

Depending on how bad this is it may be worth seeing your doctor. 99% of the time it’s hypnic jerks, or night terrors/hypnagogic Stuff, but the choked up chest feeling that’s worse when lying down can also be a sign of heart trouble.

I got woken up by a former service provider. It's actually one of the major reasons they a FORMER service provider - they couldn't understand that my shifts require at least some sleep during the day, and they would call during my sleep period, 100% of the time they wanted to talk to me, even though I repeatedly told them that they needed to call during a very specific set of hours.

Thanks for the concern but I'm talking about the woozy feeling you get when going to sleep when all your body is going into low power so no worries :)

Here I am again. Today it's because I was too much of a little bitch to stay up all day and I ended up taking a 3 hr afternoon nap.

I have the second worst sleep schedule out of everyone I know, and the other guy tends to sleep from noon to 8pm.
