Who the hell buys sixty of them?* And unless I'm misreading something the purchase history shows sales all the way back to February, And all under $8 ea. How does that work? There weren't any then.

If they had payment issues and multiple orders, I could see them having extra that they'd rather sell than return... But even with the processing issues 60 seems a little overkill.

Or it could be the private mint ran a bunch of extras to peddle themselves? Sleazy but nothing would surprise me. That screencapped listing says they're being shipped from Wheelersburg OH.

The seller account has existed for almost 10 years and has a great rating. Some of his listings are a bit out there but appear legit. Weird. I'm locked out of my seller account right now or I'd test but I seem to remember being able to create a Buy-It-Now with quantities sold that look like that although none have been sold. The 'Benefits Charity' tag is also a nice touch with 15% going to the Virginia Institute of Autism.

Does eBay let you change an old listing to something completely new, while keeping the "## sold"? That's the only plausible explanation that I can come up with.

You say this as if I'd take objection to it. The limited number of phones we'd be able to produce domestically would becomes tools for those in a position in need of them instead of disposable status symbols used to simultaneously fleece and brainwash the masses.

Too few respect how much better things would be not designed, manufactured, and programmed by indians and chinks for people across the ocean they will never know. Despite Japan perhaps being an overused example, even their disposable packaging has more care put in to it than imported "luxury" goods in the states.

Judging by the prices that these other 58 coins have sold for, I would assume they were not our Kiwi coins, unless someone was really wanted to loose a lot of money... so its likely either a fake or a joke I'd say.
