While I suggest getting rid of the puzzle piece in the front, if you do keep that puzzle piece in the front design, then that front design should pair up wi the Chris back design. After all, Chris-chan is the one who calls his autism both an excuse and a superpower, then looks down at both 'lower-functioning autistics' and the 'normal' aspies. Autism is, by Chris' own words and eliberate intention, a fundamental part of his identity. The rest of the LOLCows... not so much at most.

To be clear, I don't want to do Terry because I feel that's exploitative unless done along the wishes of his family.

I also don't really want to do other living people besides Chris because Chris is the only lolcow on the site I wouldn't mind paying some money for use of their likeness. Someone like Tommy Tooter could and would sue and with some merit, and someone like Jace is just weird because Jan is very much alive and still doing shit with MDE.

The logo is already on the front so to do a reverse without relying on Chris we'd have to get creative.



If I've given people the inclination that these merchandise runs are not to offset the expenses of the forum I apologize but they absolutely are and they do help tremendously.

I do like the idea of providing people some tangible item to prove the community existed, though.

I'm not opposed to having reverses based on important events in the forum's history or inside jokes (the masonic style is nice) but it really only feels appropriate to have Chris being on the first coin.

Could Null run into legal trouble with the term "Autism speaks"? I could easily see people framing it as a fake charity thing, so I don't think that's viable. But maybe I'm wrong.

I think that might be my issue as well (and possibly other people's who weren't big on the Chris design) - it's the era, the current day chris, that turns me off, because it's more sad than funny. I'd much prefer evoking Chris ca 2010 with his big glasses and short hair giving the peace sign over current day old sad chris.
