Final Fantasy VI/XII
Muramasa
Minecraft
Cave Story
Ever17
Steins;Gate

Skyrim
Dynasty Warriors

Team Fortress 2
orders are dumb so here is my top ten in random order. only picking one from each series so I don't sperg out on suikoden
xenogears - jesus christ why is this not considered the best RPG of all time? that fucking story ruined me. jesus fucking christ this god damn game. I know the 2D sprite system was outdated (also hurt Suikoden) but it's very rare that video games make you say "no fucking way" audibly on multiple occasions.
metal gear solid 3 snake eater - this one wins because less Raiden than guns of patriots
skyrim - lol
fallout new vegas - higher replay value than no. 3 because of the multiple storylines
phoenix wright - made me want to become a lawyer until I realized that in the real world, attempts to cross-examine a parrot would lead to disbarment.
chrono trigger - duh.
suikoden II - I dare you to show me a more evil dude than Lucca Blight. Also features one of the most underrated lines in video game history: " I'll make sure you can never make that grin again. I'll chop you up! Grind you up! Dry you in the sun! Break you to pieces! Bury you in the ground! Piss on you! Then I'll dig you up! Pull you! Stretch you! Drag you around! And then, and then, in any case, I'll never forgive you!!!"
sonic the hedgehog - jk I'm not autistic - River City Ransom. most underrated NES game of all time?
medieval total war II - KILL ALL THE CATHOLICS
final fantasy VI - I'm pretty sure this was the first RPG that didn't have a central main character. Great mix of drama and humor that more recent FF games are sorely lacking.
honorable mention: I played the fuck out of Liberal Crime Squad, which Jace did in one of his more recent livestreams
