The reason this Colonel Sanders schtick is so annoying isn't because he is doing the retarded voice, but that he does it constantly even when people ask him to shut the fuck up with it. DSP doesn't grasp humor at all. Schticks like that and his other ones he does he just doesn't understand need brevity.

I know there is the old saying about everyone's humor being different, but humor always involves brevity.

On the subject of Phil not being funny, his "singing" - he does it at seemingly random times. he has no pitch, it adds nothing since it's just narration or cheap shots, and it goes on for way too long - I still remember his Jak II LP, he randomly started singing about how much driving there was in the game and went on for minutes with genius lyrics like "driving driving EVEN MORE DRIVING!". It was just plain insufferable.

What's worse is that he thinks he's got a good singing voice.
 
More just weird than annoying, the way he says “selsser” instead of seltzer.

ALL EMPLOYEES was even worse than the driving song, there’s also the BACKTRACKING BACKTRACKING song he sang during Resident Evil Code Veronica.
 
The clueless "HMMMMM" sounds he makes whenever he gets lost somewhere in a game in his older videos really ticked me off for some reason. It really brings his stupidity at full display.

Unless I missed it, I'm surprised I didn't see "let's just think about this for a second. HMMMMMMM" as he rubs his chin. I can't tell if he's trying to sell the joke or actually using that time to think of an insult for whatever moron dared to ask him a question.

Anytime he touches around his mouth I know he's going to pinch under his nose and do an area trace of his goatee ending at his chin. A week ago or so I watched him do it about 4 times in a row and blew an artery.

Sometimes he'll set himself up for a question and say "Whhhhyyyyyyyyy?". His nasaly voice makes it torture for me, not to mention he's proposing a question like some retarded Ted Talk.

Last but certainly not least, his goddam hand gestures. Say he's pointing at the camera and then snaps his hand back and across his chest like he's a ringmaster announcing what marvels are in store for the night. This also extends to when he eats. Watch any video where he eats something small like a French Fry. He'll quickly toss it in and twist his hand back like he may bite himself if he isn't careful. For whatever reason his hand just hanging there infuriates me to no end.

He is trying to sell the joke but the more Phil tries to be funny the more the achieves the exact opposite.

In an actual conversation with actual men who socialize he would be seen as nothing but an insufferable cunt who never shuts up.

He really needed to have more male friends in his life who could tell him "Dude get to the fucking point of what you're trying to say" or "Wow, nice joke, it only took 30 minutes of set up" and so on.
 
Two things he reminded me of today:
"Does it nahhht? Did I not pick up that item. Did we not already not go to the not discovered room? Did we naht?"
The other is:
"OK guys I'm gonna take a quick break. I'm not gonna monetize ya. I'm just going to mute the mic and use the bathroom, alright. I'm just going to go real quick and use the bathroom. So a real short break, no ads, just gonna run next door real quick to use the bathroom and see what Kat is up to, alright? Just a quick bathroom break. Alright"
 
My biggest pet peeve lately would have to be how DSP can't for the life of him imagine that anyone's experiences of life could be similar or more complex than his own. From having to sit and explain mundane daily chores, to talking down to people about what hard work is, to how food tastes, it's like he can't grasp that there are other people in the world.
 
I was listening back to some old Back in Time streams by Tevin earlier today and he pointed something out that I never really thought about, DSP is only poor when it’s convenient for him.

For example Phil was talking about people coming into chat telling him that he can’t afford certain games. Phil gets angry at this and says “ever since my bankruptcy, I’ve been good and haven’t had to ask for additional money. I no longer live day to day, paycheck to paycheck. I can actually live a normal life and not worry about money. So you don’t know what you’re talking about.” Yet whenever he has to cry poor he says, “ever since my bankruptcy, I’ve been living paycheck to paycheck. The bankruptcy and trolls really screwed me over, guys.”

Despite this he brags about ordering delivery, DoorDash, buying premium pet supplies, going out to eat, ordering special editions—and so on and so forth.

Of course this is just one of many pet peeves I have about Phil but this one recently made me stroke the proverbial patchy goatee.
 
"I don't even know what that is" because he plays ignorant purely to get out of answering difficult questions.
"huuuuuh waaaaat" just annoying.
"ahuhuhuh" (the laugh where its sort of mocking) related to the first, hes just being a dick.
Speed reading to mock dents questions.
Just generally that he has no shame about sounding like a pig, the grunting he does when he sits down or just snorting into the mic, not only is it spiteful but he utterly lacks dignity.
 
Calling himself a “former pro fighting game player” has always annoyed the shit out of me.

During Phil’s heyday there was really only a handful of players you could consider “pros” that were sponsored and able to make a living playing and Phil was definitely not one of them.

Phil has never been sponsored never been flown out to play in a tournament hell there’s probably not a single tournament he played in other than maybe a local where he made a profit.

Maxing out credit cards and putting yourself into debt to to travel and play in tournaments doesn’t make you a pro.

Not to mention the game he claims to be a pro in was like 20 years old at the time. That would be like someone today claiming to be a pro sf4 player.
 
How this fucking faggot keeps calling it "american thanksgiving", there's only one other country that celebrates something like this and that's Canada everywhere else in the world doesn't give a flying fuck it's like calling football "american football" because we've as a world gotten to the point to know the different between foot ball and FUUUUUUT-BAHL that there's no need to emphasize the country of origin.
 
I've been watching some dsp content recently and noticed he goes "UMM..." way too much, it disgusted me to the point where I'm actively conscious about the way I speak now and I'm making sure I never say "umm" outside of a joking manner.
