DD-214 and NG-214 (and whatever the other branches use) are not public records and require direct authorization from the person in question. privacy act of 1974. they aren't even available to law enforcement without authorization. however certain information is readily available from the NPRC for things like confirming benefits, employment preferences, and things like that.
you would be able to see things like his name, dates of service, service branch, ranks and dates approved, geographic locations of duty stations, awards and decorations, a photograph, and where they were entered and exited service.

For all the crazy things this guy talks about he seems very stable compared to most lolcows I've seen.

Wow. Genuinely surprised this guy got a thread. Though looking at his content, I'm not all that surprised.
He's definitely a troll in a lot of ways. I've only really watched his 'serious' videos about dog and bird training, and while his personality is hyper-eccentric, he does know his stuff. He has no filter and no sense of political correctness, and I get the impression that he has dealt with so many stupid people that venting his frustrations on Youtube is a major act of personal therapy. Trust me, I know just how incredibly retarded dog owners can be, and to what insane lengths they'll go to in order to justify their behavior.
My pet peeve with him is that he is incredibly condescending and insulting towards anyone who tries to save injured wild animals or wants to own even mildly exotic pets. He acts like this whilst owning a raven and several other wild birds. But that's okay, because only experts like him know the precise care and feeding requirements of a bird that'll eat month-old McDonalds and rotten carrion without hesitation.
I find this type extremely annoying because they act like the holier-than-thou gatekeepers of knowledge. The intrepid wilderness experts who possess the supreme right to tell you stupid ignorant city-slicker scum exactly how many legs the north Carolina lesser spotted centipede has. If you touch a wild animal with your left pinkie you've automatically traumatized it, raped it and destroyed every prospect it ever had of living a free and happy life. It doesn't matter how well you can take care of it or what contributions you make to its well-being, you're a fucking monster whose supreme incompetency threatens the very balance of nature itself.
So yeah, I really find this kind of person rubs me the wrong way. If you want people that genuinely care for wild animals and are willing to take risks to help certain-death cases, I'd highly recommend channels like this one instead.

So a few years ago I happened to rescue a small bird that had been prematurely ejected from the nest. It was an unusually cold summer and there was lots of nest destruction going on. My family have been bird-keepers for years, so all we needed to do was set this poor little darling into an empty cage with a heat lamp and keep feeding it until it could fend for itself.
Several times I tried to go onto wildlife boards and online communities of people like Peter Caine to solicit advice on how to care for this thing. Every single fucking one told me the same thing; you should never have touched it. Put it back outside immediately. You're traumatizing it. It'll die of heart failure. It's a wild animal, it can survive the cold. If it imprints on you you've ruined it's life. Millions of baby birds die every year, it's not your place to interfere. No matter how much I assured them I knew what I was doing and that I was merely seeking expert advice, they continued treating me like I was literally Hitler for showing compassion for a foundling with zero chance of survival without intervention.
That bird is now healthy, happy, and living a normal life outside. The one time I tried to take their advice and placed it back outside before it was fully feathered, the poor thing quickly became hypothermic and had to be rushed back under the heat lamp before it died. Aside from a willingness to let humans nearer to it than any wild member of its species, it's perfectly unremarkable.

Peter is an absolute legend and puts a lot of effort into his videos. A lot of his videos are rambles but the alien autopsy he did and the one where he cries over the fact a Bigfoot raped him and didn't bother to give him a reach around are solid gold.
That being said, he's more like 80% troll and 20% mental illness or personality defect. He's incredibly paranoid in his live chats and easy to anger at innocent questions. there was one YouTube comment by a local saying that he is a notorious local weirdo. The best trolls always have a dash of mental imbalance, I guess.

It’s confirmed that she went back home and whatever they had going has ended. Currently, Peter has found himself a new female 20-something who actually looks kind of like a teenager. She’s his new “vampire” who is relocating to Beaver Dams to make videos with him. As I’ve recently posted in the Peter Caine subreddit, there was a live stream about a week ago in which he silenced a commenter in the chat for asking about Katja. Peter’s demeanor went a bit dark as he said he doesn’t know where Katja is. It was odd, and the fact that he has found a seemingly younger-looking woman so quickly has some people more than a bit creeped out. The new film-making companion’s name is Destiny, or at least that’s what he’s referred to her as.
