Why is Pippa such a lightning rod? Okay, she's got the small and cute character design but I've never known her to do coomer content and all of the appeal comes from this this very girly anime design screaming about shooting up a walmart, watching old movies, trolling her audience and occasionally getting into paranoid theories.

Is it because she was just first to market here on the farms for Vtubers with lolcow threads and has a penchant for edgy jokes?

IMO, people are becoming kiwibrained. Since this site is aggregating all the worst people in society some of the more terminally online users start seeing everything through a kiwifarms lens. Everyone has to be the absolute worst person on earth and needs to be alogged to banishment/death.

It hasn't helped that multiple cows have turned from lolcows to horrorcows. Chris-chan's arc from being an autistic spaz to incest mom rapist, Rekieta from happy lawyer family man into child endangerment cocaine giver, and multiple others. It's a lot less about laughs now and more about watching terminal fallouts with varying blast radius.

Also other things such as 4chan fallout, sharty negros, and various forum schisms from Trump winning the 2024 election.

I think there's also certain 'special' characters who cause issues in certain types of threads. Early on the Pippa thread was complete shit (well, it's still complete shit), with faildox and completely wrong information. Some of the TVA users tried to provide some corrections but that gets met with "YOURE DEFENDING THE COW!!!" so they just fuck off and now the Pippa thread is maybe 20% about Pippa and 80% performative opinions about how much they hate anime/vtubers. Early on one of them thought a Japanese billionaire (nijisanji CEO) was a youtube clipper, even posting a community feature for it, it's comical how bad their information is.

All that said, I don't think Pippa does herself many favors with how much she brings up rape and pedophilia (whether joking or not). She's a retard so it is what it is.
 
Lia streams need to be illegal. I have no idea what I've watched, but I deeply regret having done so.
