I liked her music. But the person? Not anymore.

I will say her rendition of Skyfall was pretty damn good. Apocalyptic. And oddly appropriate with what happened.

I knew about her comments about Charlie Kirk, and that pissed me off, but I had no idea about her comments regarding Republican pregnant women getting Sepsis. I mean, what the actual fuck, dude? Seems like she was always crazy.

I was going to disagree with this, but then I remembered They had another member that was terminated that couldn't speak cause of it. So he did one thing right.

Jelly is posting again, good for her. But I'm not buying phase shit anymore nor am I subbing to anyone if it goes to Sakana.

Sakana fucked up caving to them. They're not gonna stop.
I don't see things getting better for phase from this point on. If you go back to trusting phase this is going to happen again. Maybe not to a talent openly but its going to happen to fans and other tubers.

What's the general feel in the community? I don't really participate with much, but I feel like people are going to just try to go back to the status quo and pretend it never happened which is a mistake.

There’s some hope in terms of what the talents have recently been saying, and a distrust in management. I hope the talents win out and it does go back to normal, but in all honesty I think most of them would be better off going indie in terms of EN vtubers. If you’re worried about creative freedom and your ability to say what you want it’s just the more sensible option in the West.

I look at it as, the libshit mentality of, "Never let a disaster go to waste."
I think they're feeding off whats going on with cute jabs at Sakana as a way to boost views and get people to watch them.
Ultimately it means nothing to Sakana. he is still in charge and he is still making money.
Every donation you give, he gets a cut.
Every ad revenue from you watching, he gets a cut.
Every subscription, he gets a gut.
Every merchandise, gets that cut.
Any kind of jab at him is meaningless.

You're correct that they'd be better off going on their own. The fanbase would follow and they'd be able to get it all with no cut.
The problem is a lot of these people I genuinely don't think are capable of functioning without management. They would need to find someone to manage them - which they could do and probably pay a cheaper cut to and actually be bosses of them meaning they could fire them if they don't like them.

TBF the fishman has been MIA to the best of my knowledge, and I know of at least one person who’s compiling the personal dono links for the talents to minimize the money going to Phase propper. Should anything come of that I will post if I can

Vtubers go corpo because there's something they want to accomplish that they can't as an indie, be it production resources, merchandizing scale, getting artists/riggers to take you seriously, etc. For some, that's worth handing over the corporate cut. None of that aspect has changed with recent events.

I’m not saying that there is no benefits to it, I’m simply stating my personal preferences and opinions because of what I enjoy from vtubers and content creators more generally. I value authenticity or at least the appearance of it, and I’ve seen more independent content creators who are able to do that than corpos.

Notably, she said that Phase was trying to clean itself up the past few years, which I hate. Yes, let's change and sanitize the thing people like and make it more corporate. Why are the types of people who want to change the Cracker Barrel logo in charge of so many things, and why are they so stupid?

Achsually, Moon Jelly is her main account. She's been following both Kirsche and the Roach King there for a while. It's also the one she got doxxed from... All because her retarded editor followed her real life Twitter.

I guess she keeps it up just in case. She probably knows Phase is eventually going to kick her out because she can't expect herself to be politically correct at all times and some controversy will eventually make her bite the bullet and graduate. That or Phase imploding. Again, another parallel with Pippa and her alt (but actually main) account Yuni Luna. Both Pippa and Jelly are fairly active on their alt accounts despite both being corporate for a long time now.
 
There should be a Phase Company Right and Phase Company Left, both participate in race wars in Minecraft and call each other out constantly on x/bluesky with their respective slurs. It’s like TF2.
