To necro the thread, I just noticed that Phil has ragequit or rage-uninstalled pretty much every fighting game in the past 2 years; which is impressive considering it’s been a good few years for the genre.
Also, any spergy opinions about him shitting up DBFZ? I feel the need to make jokes about 16 being a brainless gorilla, but I have Goku Black and Adult Gohan on my team.

2nd edit: I'm a minute into this video and have to pause and offer some fighting game commentary. Phil is using Android 16 who is tentatively considered to be a top tier character. And it's funny that he hasn't evolved in the slightest. He still plays like it's Day 1. BTW, he played the beta's as well.
16 is considered one of the most dominant characters in the game because his buttons are really good, he has pretty much every tool you can think of except a full screen beam super, but his most notable aspect is that he can get hard knockdowns where the opponent cannot tech out. What that means is that when 16 scores a hard knockdown the opponent is put in a 50/50 "get fucked" situation.
Phil could easily have gotten a hard knockdown if he did a tiny bit of research or spent any time in the lab. When he got the guy in the corner he could have called an assist and continued the combo. Or he could have used Vanish for 1 bar and also get a hard knockdown. He also uses Gotenks who is a very good assist for 16 because his assist can hit them anywhere on screen and basically keep them in the corner.
3rd edit: why the fuck did he accept a match that was zero bars anyway? Is he that exceptional? I'm being rhetorical. I don't think I've ever seen him use an assist either.
4th edit and I'm done with my autism: he sticks Trunks as a mid character on his team for some reason. Trunks is considered by everyone to be a point character (the first character on your team) because his mixup and footsie game is great. However, he lacks a lot of tools that help in the later game such as not having an air special or super plus his only beam super doesn't do a lot of damage.
16 is a great character no matter where you put him on your team but placing Trunks as a mid character on a team is pretty exceptional.
5th and final autistic edit: at 15:12 Phil say's "It's so stupid because it should be safe to do the throw but he can mash to go through it!" Yeah, that's how throws work in DBZ. You cannot just do a throw/command grab unless it's 16's level 3 grab (that has invincibility but they can jump out of it after they see the super flash). You'd think a former PRO-tournament player would understand that throws lose to normals...
I LIED! 6th edit: at 21:45 lands a ki blast on the opponent but doesn't use Vanish to extend the combo. At 21:57 Phil whines "I d-d-did anti-air and it gave me projectile! OH MY FUCKING GOD DUDE! MAAAAASSSSHHHHH!" Nigga, you can't anti-air with Ki blast! The Ki blast is an entirely separate button. The only way you can kind of anti-air is if you do 236 Ki (which is a solid beam for most characters) but that's all dependent on spacing and where the opponent is. So the guy using Goku still wouldn't have gotten AA'd by 236 Ki because he was too high.
