Ah that's the thing, it was a rapid turn around arrest to restore order and not a custodial for investigation.
In a rapid turn around they just arrest everybody causing a disturbance, cell them and process you unless you have anything illegal on you or a warrant out for your arrest your in over night maybe the weekend if your unlucky give you a caution and let you go.
A hold for custodial is another matter Phil hasn't encountered yet, in cases like that your pulled in on suspicion or been accused of being involved in a crime locked in a cell for a few hours while the investigating officer get's their ducks in a row for questioning or advice from a legal authority and confirm your identity. Your then in a room with a couple of officers asking you questions some times the same questions over and over again to see how well your story holds up and that's where Phil fall's down. He can't lie convincingly and he can't keep track of a lie for very long so asking him the same question 5 times in a row spaced out will get you 3 vaguely similar answers and two answers not even close to the truth he also doesn't deal with stress very well so being locked in a room he can't just walk away from and being asked questions he can't really answer well because he dosen't rember what lie he told in the first place by imposing authority figures will make him derp off to his happy place most likely or try and throw some form of fit about some issue.
Either scenario doesn't end well for him.
